The only thing with Tarja, Goth music never does that well on here :lol: I was going to enter Amarenth at one stage in a previous competition, and I declined to use it. I could also use it for BJSC21, that's if I decide to enter JJ, so at that moment its between the 2.

JJ - Not too keen on this to be honest, though it does get better in the 2nd half imo :) 7/10

Tarja - A little too heavy for me, not bad but just not really my style. 6.5/10

Music Go Go - This is much more my sort of thing, I quite like this. 7.5/10

XX - This is definetly my personal favourite, I really like it! 8/10

Tarja Turunen – I Walk Alone 8/10 I guess it's no surprise that this is my favourite out of the 4. :D It's not "great" but it most likely would get some good points from me if it gets entered.

The XX – Teardrops 6.5/10 Nice song. Nothing more, nothing less.

Music Go Music – Light Of Love 5.5/10 I agree with the sentiment that it starts out very interesting but can't keep that up.

jj – From Africa To Malaga 4.5/10 Also a nice song but a bit boring, IMO.

Anyway, I hate that Tarja song don't enter it.

 

I adore jj and The xx. Both are fabulous songs. Though if you're going for The xx I would consider 'Crystalised' perhaps, a bit more accessible? Or Islands off their new album. The jj song is fabulous as well.

 

Unfortunately I can't see you doing well with either. They'll get points from the indie crowd, but they're not really conventional songs and won't appeal to people who want booming choruses and catchy verses. Same with Music Go Music tbh, who I do quite like as well.

Oh, this isn't quite the blast for me. No melody I can hang on to, or a sound to feel anything from.

= 5-/10

A bit catchy this one is :) I get a pleasant “circus-groove” from it, but the song is nothing more than a funny twist, though. (for me, at least)

 

Tarja Turunen - I Walk Alone

= 6/10

I usually like these finnish soothing-rock songs, but this isn’t the best I’ve heard. Though I think it has the potential to grow a bit on me..

 

jj - From Africa to Malaga

=7/10

A really relaxing song.. and a grower also, perhaps?
