It's good, leona and carrie underwood sounded by far the best... shame Natasha and leann rymes didn't get more lines! Miley didn't really sing anything... fergie souned terrible, she should of only had one line imo... i would have liked a little less beyonce too, she can sing but others need more lines to sing =P

I'm not sure it will do well at all. Annie Lennox released a similar single with loads of big artists last year for an AIDs charity and that did absolutely nothing to the charts.

 

 

I guess you could say that it was because 'Sing' was a bad song, but it shows that big stars and a good cause don't always bring a lot of sales. I hope this can become one of the biggest sellers of the year, but I don't think it will be that big outside of the USA.

I would of preferred something like DC's 'Stand Up For Love' but this is still pretty good.

Fergie sounds great at the end, i too agree that her first lines should of been shared between LeAnne or Natasha though.

 

Im not sure it fully comes down to whose the biggest star gets the biggest part though you know. I think all the girls sang through it and then the producers picked who sounded the best and put the parts into the final edit. Maybe im being naive but i doubt all that would of gone to Beyonce if she wouldnt of sounded good on it although i do agree that Mariah, Beyonce and Carrie would of had main priority before the rest of the girls.

 

Oh and the high part near the end screeched by Mariah could of easily been out-performed by Natasha, Carrie or Leona imo. And does anyone think Miley actually sounds her age? - 15 - i think she brings the quality down for her second or two.

 

And who is that Melissa girl, i've never heard of her although apparently she's been massive for ages in the USA?! She's great.

I actually think the final bit from Fergies part to the final line is the best in the song after two listens!!!

She has three lines in the second verse in between Fergie's:

You have to listen VERY carefully.

 

On the video below you can hear it at about 3:00-3:02, it's barely recognisable but I think it's her.

I was so close to doing that but Leona and Fergie were tied up in National Finals and now Leona is being used by someone else. :lol:
