I think that's what he meant, he should have said the songs with longer odds may do better than expected.

 

I think our semi will be quite close. There are only two songs that I think are awful and another one that I think will struggle, but I think any of the other eighteen songs in our semi could qualify.

NEVER send a live version (Especially Sugababes) to the contest! I have always thought Sugababes were a bit weak LIVE Except Mutya. -_- - Also Make sure the quality is good if you do. -_- - The Saturdays - Issues would be a good live track to send.

Its not as bad for Girls Aloud for instance because their live version hasnt been shot on a phone.

 

Id find it hilarious if one of BJ's most popular artists failed to make the final

I hate to bang on about it, but my winning entry was a live version of a song, so live performances CAN do well if the recording is of a good quality and if the artist is amazing live. :wub:

I think professional live versions are alright, but bands in general can seem a bit ropey live as there are so many voices clashing

I'm quite surprised at the huuuge number of voters in SF1 compared to SF2 - does this say something about the songs in the two semis?

 

And I know people like to watch out for the nil points so I'll let you know that there is just one song which has yet to score and it's quite a shock to me :o
