I think that's a HUGE under-estimation of your own entry...I can see it being one of two possible songs that could pull away with the voting from the word go

I can't put my own entry high. And I dont think I'll do that well. Sometimes I think I've sent a weak song and I'll finish lower mid table, then I'll sent a song I think has a decent chance and it'll still finish lower mid table. I've been there in 5 of my 7 contests. It's where I belong!

if it doesn't finish top five I would be incredibly shocked

we know that Embrace got at least 50 points to qualify for the final...this is without factoring me, thisispop and Martin (huge Ladyhawke fans) into the mix...it seems to me like you've got at least 100 points from the word go

I'd say top ten is a good follow up I suppose, it's just I think the host has to work harder to get their entry noticed as people already have their faves from the semis
