Trouper Kylie, 37, clambered aboard an elephant on her first official engagement since she was given the all-clear in January. She flew to Sri Lanka to meet the kids, who have formed their own theatre group, Children of the Sea. Kylie  their patron and sponsor  relaxed with the youngsters, riding elephants and larking about in the sea. She also hopped on their tour bus for a sing-song between stops. The singer said: “I was so happy to finally meet the children. Their triumph through adversity is inspiring.†She made a detour to the capital Colombo on her way from Australia to Paris, where she has been living with actor boyfriend Olivier Martinez, 39. A pal said: “Having cancer has made her re-evaluate her life and she wants to help others as much as she can.†Kylie, who finished nine months of tough treatment a fortnight ago, will now have two years of monthly anti-oestrogen injections. The hormone is known to aggravate cancer. She is already planning dozens of projects, including touring and writing a children’s book. Her friend revealed: “Kylie says she’s the happiest she’s ever been, which is an amazing turnaround. “She cannot wait to use her experiences in a positive way to help others.
