February 21, 200916 yr Author Absolutely not, cheater! :P lmfao Kelly, Anyway i gave into temptation :teresa: lol, the whole reason that i didnt want to listen to the leak is because i knew that if i did i wouldnt buy the album, but im definitely getting the album Review later EDIT: I can see the Halo comparrisons... February 21, 200916 yr Already Gone is possibly my favourite Kelly song ever. I cried listening to it today.
February 21, 200916 yr Author My Life Would Suck Without You - Do i really need to say how i feel about this song? 10. I Do Not Hook Up - A bit unsure at first but it has a memorable hook (pardon the pun :heehee:) 9.5 Cry - Again a bit unsure at first but by the chorus, i LOVE it. 9 Don't Let Me Stop You - I love the rocky edge in this song its very watered down Paramore... And again with the memorable hooks  9.5 All I Ever Wanted - Again with the rocky edge to the song, I must look up more Aranda tracks cos they sound quite good ^_^ 8.5 Already Gone - I already mentioned that i can see the Halo comparisons but, call me biased or whatever but this $h!tS all over Halo.... 10. (I would like this to be a single but due to the Halo comparisons i dont see it being possible :() If I Can't Have You - I can also see the Fly On The Wall comparisons but once again this $h!ts all over it :P I think this song suits her voice so much 8 Save You - Do i need to say how i feel about this?! I LALALALALALALALALALALOVED the demo, the finished song is orgasmic to me. 10. Want Gone Til November/Aimee Proal to be successful SO much. Whyyawannabringmedown - Everyone knows my fetish with the song title and it does the song justice  I love this and easily one of my faves 10. Long Shot - I love this song. The guitar, the drums, the voice, the lyrics. Just *enter orgasmic moan here* 11. Impossible - I like mixture of the drums and the piano, the chorus saves the song IMO 7/8 Ready - Tbh, i prefer the demo than the finished track, and i love how they sidestepped the swearing  8.5 I Want You - Love this song, its so playful and is what the album is about. 8.5 If No One Will Listen - This is the Irvine of the era. I love it. It just sums up all the $h!t that happened from the last album and its just so touching. 10. The Day We Fell Apart - Another song with a rocky edge, Theres something missing from it though... I think the chorus is very, flat and should be bigger and is a bonus track for a reason... 7 Overall: AMAZING Album, never have i been able to just sit back and listen to an album without wanting to skip a track... 9.5/10 Edited February 21, 200916 yr by Joao.
February 22, 200916 yr I've totally fallen in love with Impossible. Does anyone have any idea what the first line of the chorus is? To me it sounds like "Can't change the winter say" but surely that's not it? Could it be "Can't change the winter's day?"
February 22, 200916 yr Author Lyrics can be found here: http://www.kelly-clarkson.net/lyrix/allieverwanted.htm ^_^
February 22, 200916 yr Is it just me or does "Can't change the winter say" not make sense to you either?
February 22, 200916 yr I've been trying since yesterday to download this and every link I find is dead, can someone please help I'm desperate to hear it!
February 22, 200916 yr this album is AMAZING. its not my december (which i think is her best album by a mile) its deffo somewhere inbetween my december and breakaway. more attitude than breakaway but not as edgy as my december. alot of the songs take at least 2 listens. but whydoyawannabringmedown is AMAZING. its so gr8, that will be gr8 live. longshot is amazing, the chorus is ok but the start of it is a work of heart. such a gr8 song. impossible is also amazing. the whple album is good. my least fave is prob if no one will listen, its like a charity song. way 2 cheese for me and thats saying something. i love longshot where she sings something like (my heartbeat beats me senseless) something like that i think. or maybe i made it up lol
February 22, 200916 yr Author Just a reminder that Ryan Tedder sings backing vocals on Already Gone and if you listen carefully on the chorus you can hear him... I think thats the only time he sings
February 22, 200916 yr Already Gone is my fave so far, can't stop listening to it - great song! On the whole though I'm not overly keen on the album.
February 22, 200916 yr I really like 'Already Gone', 'I Do Not Hook Up' and 'If I Can't Have You' Is that Duffy on backing vocals in 'I Want You'? :o
February 22, 200916 yr Author ^I dont think so... I havent heard anything but it does sound a LOT like her.. We will have to wait until the album' booklet comes out
February 22, 200916 yr There are a few tracks that I don't care for on the album, but overall, it's pretty good. I'm in love with Don't Let Me Stop You, Already Gone, and Whyyawannabringmedown. I think I will buy the deluxe edition when I can.
February 22, 200916 yr Author Kind of awful album imo. Ive been interested to hear about what you think of this album *no rudeness intended* Would you care to elaborate?
February 22, 200916 yr There are some undeniably nice hooks on it (If I Can't Have You is a definite standout here), but there just seems to be no flow to the album. Just a bunch of fairly catchy songs thrown together. :( A lot of them, to me, lack a lot of personality as well, and I only say this as there are other songs on the album like 'Whyyawannabringmedown' that are chalk full of it. It's like, you get a fairly nice track, then some boring ones, and then another okay one, and then back to dull. Too many tracks as well, long is good when the album merits it, but because there really is no theme connecting everthing, it becomes tiring. It's 14 at the moment, but it would be a lot better off at 11/12, and there are some definite tracks that should not have been on the album (Save You - which feels incredibly out of place in the middle of the album, Cry, I Want You (whut, feels so out of the blue), Impossible would be the ones I'd remove). Just feels...eh, it's blah in the end for me. Quite average. Kelly has a killer voice and that's shown on a couple of tracks, but it just feels quite cliched in the end. v Standouts are definitely Whyyawannabringmedown, If I Can't Have You, and Ready which are the albums most earnest and interesting moments imo. I Do Not Hookup is alright as well.
February 23, 200916 yr Author ^I agree about Whyyawannabringmedown. Although i have to disagree about Save You.. For me its a a beautiful ballad. I think Aimee Proal and Ryan Tedder have done an excellent job on the track and its not that different to the demo which in its own right should be a finished track. I would also have to agree with the album its not as consistant as the previous 3, Thankful was more soulful, Breakaway - obvious pop/rock, My December had a grittier side to the pop/rock genre, but AIEW doesnt necessarily have a set genre, it has a bit of synth, a bit of pop/rock etc but i guess thats what you get when you shop around with producers... And if you are a fan of Ready, i suggest you look up the demo, the finished version has definitely been reworked to make it more "radio-friendly" i guess is the right word... Also they havent sidestepped the swearing lol
