The Australian popstar spoke of her disappointment with the record to The Sun, but insisted that she was pleased with the singles 'In My Arms' and '2 Hearts'. "In retrospect, we could definitely have bettered it, I'll say that straight up," she admitted. "Given the time we had, it is what it is. 'Wow', 'In My Arms' and '2 Hearts' are crackers. They go off like a frog in a sock." Minogue added that she has no desire to launch another attempt to crack the US market after X performed poorly on the Billboard charts. "I always go over there with the same attitude I've always had, which is, 'If it's to happen, it'll happen'," she commented. "I'm kept pretty much busy enough. We'll see. I'm not racing over there. I'm heading home."
August 29, 200816 yr i guess its a fair comment to make, i like X but its not a patch on albums like light years and fever, when x is good its brilliant(wow, the one and like a drug) they are 3 fantasic kylie songs for me i like in my arms, stars and no more rain and 2 hearts is a nice enough song (not lead single material though) but most of the rest apart from no more rain im not overly keen on. i think kylie's next album is what she will have wanted this album to be
August 29, 200816 yr i suppose it will always fall back to everyone has different taste,im sure kylie knows which songs of X have gone down best on tour as the crowd reaction says it all
August 29, 200816 yr It's my second favourite album of hers, but in retrospect I saw it as being a tad flawed when I heard the better songs that were used as iTunes bonus tracks, B-sides or not used at all, and tracks like 'Heart Beat Rock', 'All I See' and 'Cosmic' were on it. There are a few absolute Kylie classics on there though, I'll always remember this era fondly.

August 29, 200816 yr sorry!! i think with kylie put alot of work into the album as she had longer to make it than usual so maybe she is disappointed from that aspect but i must say X is ten times better than body language for me

August 30, 200816 yr I think too X is a really good album. It's a shame it hasn't sold that many copies. Lack of promo or released at the worst time I don't know. :(

I've just bought In My Arms single (in Hungary) and it has 2 non album tacks: Carried Away and Do It Again. Do It Again is a really brilliant song, shame it isn't on the album. For example in the place of Nu-Di-Ty.
August 30, 200816 yr X as an album wasnt bad. Had some absouletly amazing songs on it like In My Arms, but 2 Hearts just wasnt strong enough of a lead single to kick off the album.
August 30, 200816 yr Really like the album, but there are some tracks that are too weak to appear on a Kylie Minogue album and there was a bad decision on the lead single.
August 30, 200816 yr the album is a mixed album it doesnt have any one particular feel or sound to it,its agood album but with the mterial they didnt use they cud have made it a brilliant album
August 31, 200816 yr The best album of hers I own I think its brilliant. Speakerphone, Like A Drug, The One, In My Arms, Wow and 2 Hearts are all brilliant imo. Magnetic Electric and White Diamond are also brilliant songs and should have been on the album , 2 of my fave songs from her ever!
August 31, 200816 yr I really like X but there's been something missing from this album for me, I don't know what that is but Kylie obviously feels it too :heehee: I love all the singles though, as usual.
