Oh yes! I was tempted to say it was her but I couldn't be sure. I can only hope her performance will have the same effect and finally elevate 'Hurt' into the top 10 where it deserved to go when she first released it. -_- It's not gonna happen though.

It only got its first airplay last Monday. Releasing it as a download this early is a promotion tool in itself. It's got a bit of support from Radio 1 (Zane Lowe bigging it up, and it was his single of the week) and all the fans and stuff will know about it, so they'll download it. Then of course people when it appears on the Top 100 feed, people will be curious because it's The Killers who are one of the biggest bands of the past few years, so it might tempt more people to download it.

 

I think they'll do big things in the chart over the next few days - a LOT better than Fall Out Boy when they released their download early.

I hope The Killers get their first ever number one. I mean Come on if KAISER CHIEFS can get to number 1 surely The Killers can :(
