Posted September 2, 200816 yr Okay, So two of this years 'supposed' biggest female releases, Pink + Anastacia. Both albums are released on the same days (don't know about the singles, although I suppose around the same time). Who'll come out on top? [And also, who's got the better material for this year? :heehee: ]
September 2, 200816 yr Pink for all three Anastacia's dull as dishwater comeback single will sink her album
September 2, 200816 yr Pink for all 3, unquestionably. I think Anastacia's album may get a higher peak position than Pink's, but Pink will be the biggest seller in the longrun.
September 2, 200816 yr So What will quite easily be bigger than I Can Feel You. I can imagine it'll sell two or three times as many copies. Funhouse will be bigger than Heavy Rotation in the long run, which I say based on past evidence; with a huge lead single, a big follow-up and two more minor hits, Anastacia (2004) got to sales of roughly a million. P!nk's last one I'm Not Dead performed similarly (it sold about 1.2 million I think?) but it was launched off a much weaker lead single than So What, whereas Ana's was launched from a much stronger one. I think Ana will wind up at double-platinum and P!nk at triple-platinum or more, if the singles are correctly chosen. [/essay] P!nk's new material is hugely stronger based on the evidence of the lead singles.
September 2, 200816 yr p!nk, p!nk and p!nk :P Anastacia's comeback is pretty bad really... not a patch on P!nks. The same goes for Dido. Pink will do the best out of all the women at the end of the year I think
September 2, 200816 yr I think Pink is the best over-all performer, has released/will release the best material this year and will be the most successful out of the two. Although Anastacia isnt bad (just her new single kind of sucks).
