September 3, 200817 yr An uninteresting week of additions, bar maybe White Lies and I may be interested to hear the new Fall Out Boy track.
September 3, 200817 yr Author Only Switch it On was I think He's been in the hit 40 chart for the last 4 weeks on airplay alone, so he's doing alright without their help :D Evergreen - Blist Light My Fire - Blist Don't Let Me Down - Clist Leave Right Now - Blist Your Game - Blist Friday's Child - Clist Switch It On - Alist All Time Love - Blist
September 3, 200817 yr Evergreen - Blist Light My Fire - Blist Don't Let Me Down - Clist Leave Right Now - Blist Your Game - Blist Friday's Child - Clist Switch It On - Alist All Time Love - Blist Oh right thanks :D Apart from A listing SWitch it On (which charted lowest out of that list), he's not had much support from them then, so I suppose it's a case of 'what you've never had, you never miss' ;)
September 3, 200817 yr Evergreen - Blist Light My Fire - Blist Don't Let Me Down - Clist Leave Right Now - Blist Your Game - Blist Friday's Child - Clist Switch It On - Alist All Time Love - Blist Thanks for that. They've always been luke warm with regards to Will. They didn't even A list Leave Right Now, which won the best song lyrically and musically that year, or Your Game, which won best single at the Brits. Changes is a much better song than a lot on their A list, IMO. I see they have A listed the ground breaking James Morrison song. I suppose he's considered 'cool'. Fortunately he doesn't need them, but it's sad that after all these years and 2 great albums he struggles to get airplay. :( Edited September 3, 200817 yr by fatmuffin

September 3, 200817 yr Out of interest, does anyone know why Shakira doesn't get playlisted on radio 1?
September 3, 200817 yr Author Out of interest, does anyone know why Shakira doesn't get playlisted on radio 1? She has been twice, with Whenever Wherever and Beautiful Liar. But yeah, she gets largely ignored. A bit like Anastacia. They get a lot of support from Radio 2 though, but they've always been more pop orientated.
September 3, 200817 yr Is it just me, or has R1 playlisted more songs 5 years ago? (I haven't counted up though)
September 3, 200817 yr Thanks. i don't get radio one though. They've playlisted Mc Fly, and you can't get much more pop than that?
September 3, 200817 yr Author Is it just me, or has R1 playlisted more songs 5 years ago? (I haven't counted up though) And rewind 10 years and there were even more songs on the playlist. Its true, R1 playlists less songs nowadays
September 3, 200817 yr And rewind 10 years and there were even more songs on the playlist. Its true, R1 playlists less songs nowadays that means then that they play the songs more times nowadays?
September 3, 200817 yr Author Thanks. i don't get radio one though. They've playlisted Mc Fly, and you can't get much more pop than that? But they have the whole guitar vibe to them which R1 love. And they're British.
September 3, 200817 yr Author that means then that they play the songs more times nowadays? Maybe. Or they just chit-chat more, which is probably accurate. I hardly hear Chris Moyles play any music nowadays
