Posted September 3, 200816 yr This is being released on the 8th Sept. I LOVE the orginal and love this remix too  Being released on 12" me thinks ;o UKocyzpx31w Delerium feat. Sarah Mclachlan - Silence (Niels Van Gogh Vs. Thomas Gold Remix) Edited September 3, 200816 yr by C'w
September 3, 200816 yr OMG I agree! I love the original song with its remixes and this one is just perfect! As far as I remember it'll be out on the 8th September on 12", yes.
September 3, 200816 yr Author I've actually played it loads over the last few nights  I AM in love with it
September 3, 200816 yr Hate the remix. Electro remixes of amazing trance songs almost always ruin them.
September 3, 200816 yr Hate the remix. Electro remixes of amazing trance songs almost always ruin them. Originally it is not a trance song :) zvqlI0Hv9f4
September 3, 200816 yr I've always hated the original version of Silence...it sounds like church music :puke: the Airscape remix is my favourite by far, Tiesto's would be second
September 3, 200816 yr I've always hated the original version of Silence...it sounds like church music :puke: It is like an Enigma song, a bit identical to Sadeness :o
September 3, 200816 yr I know the original isnt trance, but the popular and most known version is. Its a classic. No point in ruining them. Airscape remix is the best, the Tiesto remix is overrated, as is his remix of Innocente. Lost Witness did the best remix of that.
September 3, 200816 yr Airscape remix is the best, the Tiesto remix is overrated, as is his remix of Innocente. Lost Witness did the best remix of that. I don't agree here with you. This is just your taste of music. I love both song's Tiesto remixes, they are brilliant and true the new remixes are not better than those remixes. The Airscape remix is great as well. BTW I heard an awful awful remix of Silence in a hungarian radio. The singer was out of tone, and it is a bit slower. And they play it day by day. Surely not the Delirium and Sarah McLachlan version but who could have ruined it...
September 3, 200816 yr Well "Silence" was released again in 2004 or 2005 I think, made the top40. It was remixed by Above & Beyond I think. Was good, but yeah, Airscape is unbeatable.
September 3, 200816 yr The original is fantastic, even if it does sound like church music. MUCH better than this disappointing new remix. How many times does Silence need to be released anyway? The best version remains the Michael Woods remix anyways. McLachlan's vocals sound GORGEOUS on it. Edited September 3, 200816 yr by Shoat
September 3, 200816 yr Oooh thats a remix i'd like to hear. Michael Woods is amaze Well it depends on whether you like dance or chillout. This is a pure chillout remix. 07RR5DZxolA I love how they've pitched Sarah's vocals higher, it adds to the whole ethereal nature of the track.
September 3, 200816 yr I love chillout. I prefer the Airscape remix, but they're totally different version. This one is still very good :)
September 5, 200816 yr I really like this remix. Sounds a bit like the Inpetto remix of Toca's Miracle though.
September 25, 200816 yr Hate the remix. Electro remixes of amazing trance songs almost always ruin them. agreed
September 28, 200816 yr Terrible update. Just who are these electro mixing Kill-joys dulling the classics. Another one to fall victim is Guru Josh's "Infinity". Enough already!
October 11, 200816 yr I actually prefer this version - Thomas Gold is a superb remixer. I like Delerium a lot - but Silence was never one of their better tracks, anyway, unfortunately, it remains probably the only song 99% of people here know by the band. My favourite by them is the gorgeous 'Euphoria (Firefly)'..... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1xFHCEjwB9I
October 12, 200816 yr I see the Rhys Fulber cash-cow is back again..... HOW many re-releases for "Silence" now....? Still, it's fair enough, he uses the money he makes off Delirium and all the resultant remixes to fund his and Bill Leeb's first and real passion - Frontline Assembly, who are ten times the band Delirium are IMHO.... Still, I would say that, I'm a bit of a Rivet-Head..... I only own three Delerium albums, whereas I've got everything Frontline Assembly ever did....
