I don't think that the original's 'too Euro', after all Cascada and Infernal had huge hits here without having to change their songs

I just think that every version of this song that I've heard lacks a little something...it's better than I Need You Now but it's no Release Me - I like it but I've never really fully connected with this song to be honest. I do prefer other songs on the album but there aren't any more 'smash hits' on there in my opinion so it's as wise a choice as any to release On & On, unless Secret Love turns out to be incredible that is

I hope they aren't releasing that remix. It's not a patch on the original IMO. I don't understand their hesitation to release it. It really isn't "too Euro" for the UK at all.

It's not official, just speculation.

I really don't like this...I get how they've increased the tempo so now it can be danced to, but it now sounds like Love Me Senseless so why not just release Love Me Senseless for heaven's sake!! This new version is tuneless

It's just a REMIX now, there are only rumours that it will be the UK edit, I can see why though since that's the type of production that'd be a hit.

Clearly should have the 2nd UK single. As nice as I Need You Now was...

Hope it can manage a decent enough chart posistion to save her UK career.

If this gets decent airplay, I have a feeling this could be another top 10 hit..

I think one of the main reasons I Need You Now didn't do so well is because it clearly couldn't follow up to the epicness of Release Me.

Brilliant! Best choice left that would do well for her over here imo. Hopefully it will be a big hit for her! :D

I think it's more likely to be a hit than the original version but they should probably make it a little bit more "full" with strings etc. I figured the selling point of Release Me (certainly why the critics liked it anyway) was that it was like September or Cascade except with bigger / richer production. I think this takes her a little bit too far away from pop territory...I appreciate how she's being marketed as a dance artist and that's certainly what she's seen as, but bringing out things like this will make it much harder to ever make a change.

yeah I agree, Release Me was quite classy for a pop/dance song thanks to the glorious strings

having said that, they added extra strings to I Need You Now and it had little effect

True :( I am glad to see them going with this, but I'm not THAT optimistic about it being a hit tbh, it has an air of Clubland compilation only dodrums to me :( Not that it's not an awesome track, but it's a little more generic than previous entries and I think after the flop I'm not sure who will care :(

*LATE*

Secret Love:

Too cheesy to be a single tbh, nice enough song though.

BTW: The chord structure is more or less a Release Me rip-off (especially in the verses). I thought it was meant to be similar, not it's twin.
