Really like this, but then I'm a sucker for this kind of R&B

Anybody heard the album. I'm listening to it now, and so far it's alright, but nothing WOW! think Ciara crossed Kat DeLuna...

The album is odd. Lots of Bajan tongue as well as her American singing accent. Lots of very stripped-back beats. Not really all that mainstream surprisingly! I really like it though, especially 'Roll It'. That and 'Superwoman' should be singles.

I like tracks 1-3 ALOT! The only songs on the album to get full marks on iTunes the rest are 3 or 2 stars except track 8 which has 4.

I really recommend people check this out! She's a really refreshing artist who's as much pop as R&B and has brilliant songwriting skills...

'Cold Cold Summer' really reminds me of another song which I can't quite put my finger on... 'I Crave You' samples 'Shape Of My Heart' by Sting (which Sugababes sampled with 'Shape').

She's flopping horribly in the US. :nocheer:

According to the promo thang I am holding she is being handled by Island in the UK.

 

'T-Shirt' will be released here on 23rd February and the album 'Shontelligence' on 9th March.

Well i've only seen it once so far -_- Hopefully it should pop up when all the christmas songs have buggered off.

I saw the album in HMV as well yesterday, I expect it was an import or something. I almost picked it up as I haven't downloaded it yet but it was £16!
