With STEWART GODDARD as ADAM ANT..along with MARC ALMOND and SOFT CELL. ANEKA was Scottish (and still is, though not her real name). JULIAN COPE in TEARDROP EXPLODES, MIDGE URE and ULTRAVOX, and ADRIAN BAKER doing another tribute to the FOUR SEASONS..he first did that in Aug 1975 with "Sherry". Of course, 1981 was the year of the medley..STAR SOUND, ENIGMA, STARTRAX, and even the HOLLIES, BILL HALEY, and GARY GLITTER doing medleys of their old hits. So, last week we got 10 singles in the top 10! And the 8 - 13 section spot on. Altogether 38 singles made the top 40, on Sunday night. In the albums, we had 7 in the 10, 17 in the 20, but just 22 in the top 30. Check out Mart!n`s mids tomorrow..although Metallica won`t show in the albums, because it`s not released until Friday (remember). I probably won`t be around to do the weekly forecast, next Monday. As Trevs, is not very well at the moment, with a host of health probs, you may not get the thread at all next week. Unless, I get an early forecast to give to someone else to do. As for now, I will be back on Friday evening for "The Almost Saturday Chart". Many Thanks for reading! And come on Cliff! :teresa: If you want to see some fresher hits, tune into Sky Channel 180 from 7.55pm..this is preceeded by Mike Read`s "Pop Quiz", at 7pm.

September 8, 200816 yr Also entering the top 75 are LL COOL J, FLEETWOOD MAC, and ANDREW JOHNSTON. This is the second time you have had Andrew Johnston entering the chart and yet its not released until 29th September LL Cool J is not out until next week either What information do you include that places these in the chart ahead of release?
September 8, 200816 yr Author This is the second time you have had Andrew Johnston entering the chart and yet its not released until 29th September LL Cool J is not out until next week either What information do you include that places these in the chart ahead of release? For some reason Asda stores include releases early, which seem to indicate pre-orders. This gets rather confusing, and I end up with a list that has a bunch of unreleased titles at the end. Maybe I should check the actual releases, before I put them down. I did notice that I put Andrew on, last week. Thanks James!
