September 13, 200816 yr so giggs not kicking it out wasn't lucky? they didn't earn the goal He should have kicked it out, but he didn't. Macherano should have watched Tevez for the first goal but he didn't, was that luck on Man Utd's behalf? We earned the goal, just look at the stats: Liverpool Team Statistics Man. United 2 Goals 1 7 Shots on Target 2 8 Shots off Target 3 7 Blocked Shots 3 5 Corners 4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10 Fouls 18 1 Offsides 4 0 Yellow Cards 2 0 Red Cards 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 76 Passing Success 69.6 25 Tackles 18 80 Tackles Success 77.8 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 53.9 Possession 46.1 51.3 Territorial Advantage 48.7
September 13, 200816 yr You weren't in it, at all and then you get the luckiest goal EVER and then you score another lucky goal Liverpool fans are the bitter ones, f***ing murderers. According to the official stats. Van Der Sar made 7 saves, Reina saved one. I didn't see the game, but from looking at the stats and reading about the game it's quite obvious you're wrong, although the way you've always spoken would suggest you've never once been wrong in your life...

September 13, 200816 yr I haven't if you watch the highlights, you'd see it wasn't how 'class' Liverpool it was mediocre Manchester United major difference I thought we were absolute class. You got the early goal and then just sat back, your players just went missing. Man Utd did look very ordinary, but that was because Liverpool just ran the game from midfield. It was made easier when Carrick went off, but Mascherano and Alonso just controlled the midfield. Riera gave Liverpool a completely new edge I thought, it allowed the fullbacks (especially Auerllio) to get into more attacking positions and know that if they mess up, they've got two holding players ready to stop the Man Utd attack. Every player was excellent for Liverpool today. We've been below-par so far this season, but today we stepped it up into 5th gear and completely ran Man Utd off the park. It's stupid to write Man Utd off this early in the season, but I think you've got problems. I reckon it'll be the last we'll see as Berbatov, Rooney and Tevez all starting the game for a while. Fergie just got his tactics wrong.
September 13, 200816 yr Derby won! :( Chelsea won, too! :cheer: How comes you wanted Chelsea to win??
September 13, 200816 yr I haven't if you watch the highlights, you'd see it wasn't how 'class' Liverpool it was mediocre Manchester United major difference Does it matter which way it was? Either way they outplayed you...
September 13, 200816 yr How comes you wanted Chelsea to win?? Because they aren't Man Utd or Liverpool. (and to a lesser extent Arsenal). They're my favourite big 4 team and generally always were. When Forest got relegated Chelsea became my Premiership team of choice as I loved players like Zola and Di Matteo. Even now I still quite like them...
September 13, 200816 yr Author so giggs not kicking it out wasn't lucky? they didn't earn the goal mate, i'm from Salford it's fans like you that make my team a team of 'glory hunters' :\ Excuse me? LMFAO! Im from hardly far from Manchester and i had a season ticket for 4 years.. i live and breathe that club and have since i was BORN so dont call me a f***in glory hunter as if you were placed on this earth by god himself

September 13, 200816 yr Face facts, like all great managers who hang on too long (Clough, Busby, Jock Stein) I'm really starting to wonder if Fergie is going the same way. Oh dear, oh dear.. you beat us on a day when we were appalling and you think of outlandish statements like that? Riera has solved half your problem, yes but I can assure that statement shall come to haunt you by the end of the season ;)
September 14, 200816 yr Oh dear, oh dear.. you beat us on a day when we were appalling and you think of outlandish statements like that? Riera has solved half your problem, yes but I can assure that statement shall come to haunt you by the end of the season ;) I think Riera has solved the biggest problem we had, which is that he lacked someone in the squad who could run down the wing and put in some decent crosses (although he didn't do that too much yesterday). He allows the full-backs to get forward which is great, and I thought Aurellio was fantastic yesterday, especially when he went to attack. Riera and Babel tore Wes Brown to pieces yesterday, and they made him look like the average player he is. I genuinely believe too that Babel can become one of the best players in the world in a few years time as long as he works on his first touch. It'd be stupid to write Man Utd off this early, but like I said earlier, Fergie must be majorly pissed that all of his squad (bar maybe Ferdinand) went missing in one of the biggest games of the season...
September 14, 200816 yr Shame Everton won. Would've liked a draw and then Spurs win tomorrow to see Wigan in 10th to be only off the bottom by virtue of their superior goal difference.
September 21, 200816 yr Author *rekindles back to life* CHELSEA V UNITED :w00t: Also amazing result for Stoke yesterday
September 21, 200816 yr I'm with Matt Aloud. Wear-Tees derbies are the place to be :funky: indeed :P Revenge will be ours :funky:
September 21, 200816 yr I'm forgetting about football until Tuesday. I saw the worst game i've ever seen for a long time, with the worst referee i've ever seen (and trust me, in the Blue Square Prem this takes some doing), then I got home to see Liverpool still haven't learned from their errors, and how to break teams down that are happy to sit with 10 men behind the ball. :( Thank God the Chelsea vs Man Utd game was a draw.
