It's quite frustrating being so close to qualification (I wonder what would have happened had Rontvia been in semi-final one....), but I'm so happy at the result for Gigi D'Alessio and it did so much better than I thought it could have! 42 difficult points I think.

 

It was very heartening to see that 11 out of the 21 countries (over half the voters) thought Non Mollare Mai worthy of a placing in their top ten songs. I never thought so many countries would give it votes.

 

So I didn't get through, but it's been fun, and hopefully I've introduced a few people to a great song a proved a song like that can pick up a fair few votes.

 

Mission accomplished me thinks ^_^

I wish I'd been in semi 1...I got put with all the people that hated Headhunted :rofl: having said that, I maintain that a good enough song will qualify no matter which semi it's in...it would have perhaps only come 15th-20th in the final had it scraped through and I'd rather not be in the final than have a flop like that...

Among the 11 countries who gave Herzebania points, were all of the countries visited in the "promo tour."

 

Could it be that they actually work to a certain extent?
