The battle of the pop princesses has a new round this year, with both Britney and Christina releasing their new singles to radio on the very same day: September 22nd.

Who will win the battle in the end? We haven't even heard Britney's "Womanizer" yet but we had a full stream of Christina's "Keeps Gettin' Better" as performed at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Still, who do you think will get more success, recognition, buzz and attention?

Does anyone even care about Britney or Christina anymore? Are they still vital for pop music? Will they be pop icons one day?

Britney IS a pop icon. Christina could be.

 

The poll however is utterly pointless; any vote made before we've actually heard Womanizer is just completely wasted.

Whatever Britney does, it'll do well.

Plus, with the producers she has on board, it's not gonna be sh!t is it?

I'm a Britney fan anyway. Christina annoys me.

Christina can actually sing, Britney can't. That could be anyone on Womaniser etc and we wouldn't know the difference, hence all these fake leaks because she sounds like any Tom,Dick or Harry, whereas Christina is an immense singer, even on a dance track like Keeps Gettin Better she sounds great.

Sorry to harp on but this thread is an absolute joke. HOW can anyone make a fair judgement without hearing both songs? We've only heard a 40 second snippet of an LQ demo of Womanizer; no where near enough to make an informed choice, however much you hate Xtina.

 

Atm this poll is basically 'do you prefer Britney or Christina?', NOT 'who will win the battle'. Lame.

I hope both of them flop, for the good of decent music...

I personally like Britney's song more. While Christina's is great (imo), I think Britney's edges it for me.
