September 26, 200816 yr Sorry to harp on but this thread is an absolute joke. HOW can anyone make a fair judgement without hearing both songs? We've only heard a 40 second snippet of an LQ demo of Womanizer; no where near enough to make an informed choice, however much you hate Xtina. Atm this poll is basically 'do you prefer Britney or Christina?', NOT 'who will win the battle'. Lame. I do agree...but now that "Womanizer" has leaked... I really dislike Christina's new song, her vocals don't fuse well with electro-pop...and a decent producer would have told her to atleast try to be more subtle with the way she presented that song. With that being said "Womanizer" is alot better in every way possible. Production is better Hook is better Chorus is better I also think Britney's voice is better in this one. Now, in saying that I know that Christina has a great voice, but alot of times she overdoes it, like on Back 2 Basics. I am a fan of Christina but I am a fan of her's because of Stripped and B2B. This Goldfrapp/Lady Gaga feel is not working for her...so thank God it is only for a greatest hits album. Womanizer on the other hand is indeed repetitive but in a good way. Her vocals compliment the production, and the production compliment her vocals. The song actually has a storyline as well, and that is also a major plus. WOMANIZER FTW! September 26, 200816 yr Well I agree that Britney has the better production (though it's messy in parts) but Christina's vocal is hugely better and Womanizer doesn't have a hook which even touches KGB's. So now I've heard both, I'm voting Christina...and I actually love Britney.
September 27, 200816 yr  23:5 ??? Voted Christina, not because I'm her fan but because I think the song is much better than Britney's ^_^ It's impossible for Christina to win with all the Britneymaniancs around here <_<

So your logic is an epic fail. There are more Britney fans because Britney has released more music and is a pop icon, and whether you like her or not...it's the truth. There are more Britney fans because Britney has released more music and is a pop icon, and whether you like her or not...it's the truth. calm down  didn't mean anything bad by that, it's good to see she still has so many devoted fans after all that she's been through. I used to be a huge Britney fan once :P and I like both of their new songs, just think Christina's is better... Lyrics aren't that special in either of those songs tbh  but Christina's vocal is better. I'm a Chrismaniac =) And it doesn't matter how much music you've released, it's the quality that counts ;) (or maybe that's just my opinion)
September 27, 200816 yr They're both great songs & I like both Artists but I like Christiina's song more :)
September 27, 200816 yr christina just sounds like she's jumped on the electro bang wagon. and the result is releasing a song that sounds like it could have been released in 2004. Its not a bad song, its just not great because you feel like you've heard it all before. it lacks any originality and personality and her wailing at the end of the song in her divaesque style is just so predictable and boaring. But Britney's new song seems like a natural progression from her past two albums but driven a bit further. The production is ace and her tweaked vocals really suite it all. Its brit hands down. Although Christina is technically more talented in the vocal department. But not everyone needs to sound like whitney houston to be talented. Britney is an entertainer. Christina is a vocalist - nothing that hasnt been said a million times before I know.
September 27, 200816 yr I totally adore both tracks  But my vote goes to Christina who just pips it.
September 27, 200816 yr I've always been in the Xtina camp over Britney this decade, as Xtina is a fantastic vocalist who has consistently made better singles & albums than Britney that I have preferred. But it is a walk over. Britney's song is vastly superior with one of the top 5 hooks in a pop song this year continuing on from her superb Blackout comeback album, which musically supports her less than brilliant voice superbly. Whilst Christina has compromised her strength which is her vocals on her electro track, and image wise ripping off Lady GaGa who ripped off Deborah Harry (Blondie) in the first place is not a smart move either. And all of this is before we see the videos which normally Britney beats Christina hands down in as she has a magnetic presence with a camera that the more talented Christina lacks.
September 27, 200816 yr Highly disappointing comeback single for Christina :( And Womanizer is nowhere as good as Gimme more IMO, but it's still a decent song. So Britney for me.
September 27, 200816 yr Britney's song (has) one of the top 5 hooks in a pop song this year  Was that serious?! The hook is hardly huge...in fact it's somewhat lacking in comparison with Gimme More and Piece Of Me...[/size]
September 27, 200816 yr I'm not sure tbh I like both but neither are totally amazing, I think Britney will do better though.
September 27, 200816 yr Both aren't incredible, I don't even think that is Britney singing in hers, It's probably Danja with the pitch turned up  Britney will obviously win, as she's "Britney" I prefer Christina's though

September 27, 200816 yr Danja has nothing to do with the song :P  It's growing on me a tad It's very catchy, but it isn't a par on Gimme More or Piece Of Me
