September 17, 200817 yr Author It was their record of the week last week, not much of a shock I suppose
September 17, 200817 yr Jo Whiley played Girls Aloud and The Last Shadow Puppets on Monday. They both sounded great. Why aren't they on the playlist already? Good that the new Keane single has been added. Steve Mac didn't last long. Isn't his physical out just this week? Don't know why Radio 2 has added the Oasis song. Definitely not Radio 2 sound and not a good record either.
September 17, 200817 yr Author Steve Mac was released last week. On the other hand, James Doman is released this week I think, and its out already. Chris Brown lasted 1 week on the A-list :o Its still ages until the GA song is released, there's loads of time. They also are hammering Xtina's new single, but thats not out in ages too
September 17, 200817 yr It was their record of the week last week, not much of a shock I suppose The week after 'Better In Time' was Record Of The Week I'm sure it started on the C-List and worked up to A-List.
September 17, 200817 yr Author I've just noticed that Radio 2 has many records that have also been playlisted on Radio 1. I dont think its been this many before though
September 17, 200817 yr Steve Mac didn't last long. Isn't his physical out just this week? Steve Mac was released last week. Nope, Steve Mac is released physically this week. WOW Sash already added :o Were his other songs also been playlisted in the past? (if yes, A, B or C?)
September 17, 200817 yr Author Nope, Steve Mac is released physically this week. WOW Sash already added :o Were his other songs also been playlisted in the past? (if yes, A, B or C?) I dont have the playlists from those years but, I think all of them were playlisted.
September 17, 200817 yr I dont have the playlists from those years but, I think all of them were playlisted. It's a shame he flopped with his last album(s). I really liked his stuff. I hope though he can come back and do some new tracks too.
September 17, 200817 yr Author It's a shame he flopped with his last album(s). I really liked his stuff. I hope though he can come back and do some new tracks too. His last album wasnt released in the UK. The GH didnt do that well cos it had nothing new and no single to go with it (his 3 studio albums did well). Anyway, the songs I know 100% made the A-list were Stay and Just Around The Hill.
September 17, 200817 yr Sash! :cheer: here's hoping for another No.2 :kink: they should have got rid of Sam Beeton, it flopped...and Radio 2 got rid of Colbie  oh well, she's had her day, nothing she releases here will give her a hit if Bubbly can't
September 17, 200817 yr Author I think Realize and The Little Things are much better than Bubbly, but yeah, thats probably the more hit friendly. She's really big here
September 17, 200817 yr I think Realize and The Little Things are much better than Bubbly, but yeah, thats probably the more hit friendly. She's really big here I agree, they're far better, but Bubbly has an instant hook which I don't think those 2 tracks have, they take slightly longer to grow Realize is stunning  but there doesn't seem much point releasing it here as it would probably go top 200 if lucky  she doesn't get the full support that over countries have given her, if the track had been on the Radio 1 a-list too I'm sure it would have gone top 40 at least, and perhaps have been a slow burner in the chart...
September 17, 200817 yr Am I completely behind? I still haven't heard the Jack White & Alicia Keys song, has it leaked?
