The singer will perform her comeback single 'Womanizer' in what will be her first visit to the UK in four years. ITN reports Spears will appear on the talent show this December - around the time her new album Circus is to be released. 'Womanizer' will be available in the UK on September 22. A track from her new album titled 'Candy From Strangers' has already been reportedly leaked online. September 18, 200816 yr Wow. For some reason though I don't believe it, but yeah, if true, awesome. It'll probably be lip-synced, but who cares. If she's confident to perform to 10M people live (and many more via YouTube), that's a good thing. This might be her first "live" performance since Gimme More, right?

Well, I highly doubt that she will wait to perform "Womanizer" until December, considering the album is released December 1st in the UK. I think her first performance will be at American Music Awards in November!

But no, she hasn't fallen so far that she has to audition for a place in front of Simon and co - instead she is expected to make an appearance on the show in December to promote her new album. The X Factor slot will mark Britney's first visit to the UK in four years and will see her perform her new single Womanizer. Since last appearing in the UK, Britney has been divorced, married, divorced again, had two kids, been involved in a custody battle for the kids and shaved her head. Phew. Her last high-profile music appearance was at last year's MTV music awards which was widely criticized due to her sloppy dancing and out of time lip-syncing. So, will she impress the X Factor judges and get four yes votes from the panel? Or will it be a no from Cheryl?

September 18, 200816 yr It won't be in October...because this won't be her first performance for "Womanizer" or any single off of "Circus". I know for a fact that her "comeback" performance will be on something that millions upon millions watch, for instance the American Music Awards. Not only would everybody in America would see it, but since it took place in the US it would be on a bigger stage then a reality tv show in the UK.

September 18, 200816 yr They might as well just not book anyone else to perform on the X Factor. Cos this is THE ONE performance that people will be looking forward to. Everybody else will be completely overshadowed. Not even Madonna could beat this.
