In my opinion, her performance was terrible and she was seriously outshone by 16 year old Miley Cyrus.

I think if we put it down to a vote, the people who agree with your "summary" would be the minority.

How can people compare Miley who is starting out to Britney? Britney was amazing when she started too. She just lost it, but is trying to get it back. People who are bashing obviously couldn't give a $h!t if she comes back or not. She seemed to have fun at the show tonight. I think it's hilarious that some think that Womanizer would be easy to sing, it would be horrible and she would just stand still if she did it.

But she still did do something. Yes, there was no major dance routine but she was moving around, dancing still, and definitely had stage presence! There was definitely some coordinated moves between her and the dancers throughout the performance as well. I think people are making it out to be a lot worse than it actually was!... at least in my opinion.

Look at the contestants, even they struggled to sing her songs and they barely moved. We all would have loved Britney to come out and sing a line or 2 live, or have a full on routine, but we all knew it wasn't going to happen, so i don't see why your upset.

I'm sorry, but the only people I've seen say positive things are the hardcore fans who seem to think she can do no wrong. It may sound harsh but it's true, it doesn't strike me as an objective opinion.

It's true there hasnt been one non-diehard who has praised it! This performance is getting trashed by casual observers on other non-music sites tooo, lol! Let them have their opinion tho, if they wanna stay deluded it's up to them! Britney could have come out in her dressing gown and the 2nd messaish would still have cometh!

Well Durrrrr wouldn't you if she came out in her dressing gown (like the one she wears in the 'Womanizer' video :kink: :naughty:) But yeah. I'm not saying it was AMAZING! or Sublime or whatever, I just think it's not as worse as alot of you "non die-hard" fans have made it out to be! :unsure:

I thought, really, that the performance was only marginally better than that infamous 'Gimme More' VMA's performance, it was pretty much the same thing except here she looked good and had decent clothes.

I think people who are die-hard hating the performance are being the harsh ones. Obviously people set high standards for her performance on the show but people seem to be treating it similarly to the tragic VMA performance last year. :huh:

 

And who said anyone was praising it? That's not the same thing as just not hating on the performance. I'm sorry, but we're not deluded just cause we have our own opinions. -_- But you're right, I do think Britney is like totally flawless ya know? She can do no wrong no way. :rolleyes:

After downloading the Mp3 version of that performance, it was a pre-recorded live thing that were similarly used in the other 2 performances...

I thought the performance was great, definitely her best out of the three. The best part was the fact that she seemed to be REALLY enjoying herself! And she added alot of choreography since yesterday because of there not being a ball and fire routine. Her energy was fantastic. :wub:
