I thought, really, that the performance was only marginally better than that infamous 'Gimme More' VMA's performance, it was pretty much the same thing except here she looked good and had decent clothes.

Ok now that is total BULL $h!t. Go and watch the VMA perofrmance and watch the X-Factor perfomance. Her energy was great and the dance that she did do she actually did right. Ok you might not like the performance, but to say that it was only a bit better then the VMA's from last year is f***ing ridiculous.

EXACTLY! So how close could this performance have been to the one at the VMA's?!

lol what?

Well, I really couldn't give a $h!t about what others think. I think the performance is great and she did the same exact routine she learned only better each time she has done it. So yeah considering this was her last good performance since her tour in 2004 I think she is doing pretty damn great. Go compare her promo performances to that of all her other eras they are all the same. The only time when Britney has gone all out are at huge award shows.

Bring on GMA where she is performing multiple songs. They also showed the clip on MTV news just a second ago, and they said she rocked it...it's also already back in the top 3, so it seems most people have taken to it well. ALAS, let's all focus on the negative, it seems to be the IN thing to do right now.

Haha, I was agreeing about the "looking good and having decent clothes" part because at the VMA's she didn't even have that going for her. So I don't see how this performance could have been close to looking worse like that one!

I agree with everything you said Tyler! When there's something negative against Britney, that's all people seem to care about. -_- She must've done something right if her single is already back up to #3 on iTunes! Everyone loves a horrible performance...

I liked the performance the first time I saw it. The BAMBI awards had to grow on me.

Star Academy was good, but tonight was even better.

Lol, at warning threats!

I aint bothered! I already asked higher people on here and they said this can be a place (any AF) for positive and negative comments. If you don't like people being negative that is your problem.

My opinion is she was rubbish and i didnt like it and she was far from vintage britney, so take it. Anyw people seem to act like getting to no.3 and soon no.2 was so hard. 12 million people were watching, and the gap between her and the Killers was like 800 downloads a day, that only means she would have to start selling an extra 33 copies an hour, to be level with them in the next update, hard stuff aint it, lmao!

Well, I liked that she put more energy into this, and she has clearly improved since the last two performance. So good on her.

The lip syncing however was a bit tacky and un-necessary considering that she wasn't really dancing, and that really seems to be the general consensus about this performance. Plus it really did lack the theatrics of the Star Academy performance, so this X Factor performance just ended up being her walking about the stage that's it.

It wasn't embarrassing like the VMA's, but it wasn't interesting. But anyway, I'm sure she'll work on that.

Can't wait to see her sales this week for her new album! Nice to see Womanizer shoot up to #3. :D

mrincredible you obviously have NOTHING positive to say so seriously get out, before I give you a warning.

I thought the performance was great, definitely her best out of the three. The best part was the fact that she seemed to be REALLY enjoying herself! And she added alot of choreography since yesterday because of there not being a ball and fire routine. Her energy was fantastic.

Don't have to be positive, these arent fan love ins! Criticism is welcome as much as praise! You liked it...good for you, your opinion- i cant/wont change that! But, mine is different, and Martin said we should discuss the positives and negatives here, not in the iTunes thread....as this is supposed to be impartial! Fix up! <_<

It was ok could have been better, and I know she always mimes but it would be nice if she could just sing for once.

I'm a bit confused about this whole bitching about her miming thing. Same Difference mimed last week. Mariah mimed when she was on. It's hardly anything new - you may not like the idea of someone miming on talent shows, but it's not exactly groundbreaking.

Energy and outfit wise, this was my favourite of the three - shame X Factors stage is so $h!t they couldn't use the cage, but it was made up for by how into it she was. The choreography wasn't as exciting as I'd hoped, but a generally solid performance, which in no way merits some criticisms posted here.

Do you think this whole controversy would have a negative effect on her album sales?

The Crowd seemed to be just right behind her, which gave her a much needed (IMO) confidence boost, and at this rate if she keeps doing it this way then she will get her confidence back and hopefully by the GMA performance she get's to sing live  But these are great ways on getting her confidence back :w00t:

My dad even said to me, "The miming was rubbish, but it was good to see the old Britney starting to comeback" and I was like "Wooo thank god you said that!" Coz he's not a big fan of Britney, nor is my mum, but they were both like "Good for her" ^_^

I  BRITNEY :P

I was smiling all the way through that performance. The feedback was just so  The crowd were brilliant

trust me baby, I'll show them your posts and they will and how many times you post your negative remarks, and they can atleast back up the fact it is not needed. . <3

ANYWAYS if you feel compelled to make a b**ch thread else where go ahead. This is about her X-Factor performance thread not how I issued you a warning which wasn't even a warning FFS. Read the rules before you post and maybe you would have a clue.

Fix up!

I really wished she wouldnt have performed now.

She lip synced in France, nobody cared, she did the same in Germany, nobody cared. Now she did the same thing in the UK and she's being torn to shreds.

She really shouldn't have come to the UK, she should have gone straight back to LA.

But oh well, hope she proves herself when she performs in a couple of days in America.

The fact is Britney has NEVER sang live when it comes to performances. I have come to grips with that, and you would think people would not expect it either after 10 years of it being like that. Ballads I could understand, but besides that I really don't care. The performance was solid, and judging by the standing ovation she got by the judges...it seems it went over well in the big picture.

I can understand however how people could not like it, that's the case with alot of performances...but the hating is even more predictable, seriously...even after her best performance there was this much hating on the boards and stuff. Not bothered.
