The point about all this fuss as McFly are a male band is also a good point <_<

Well personally I like some boy bands and male artists: I liked Backstreet Boys in the beginning, NKOTB too, NSYNC and Justin Timberlake, O-Town and Shayne Ward etc.

 

I don't really like McFly tbh because it's not my fave genre they play. They are more popular between the younger guys ang girls (15-20 something like that I can imagine) That's it :)

 

But as I previously said, some artists or rather record labels should learn from their promotion activities!

Yeah i always thought that was a bit odd

At the end of the day, people dont have to explain themselves for getting annoyed with mcfly, the charts pretty much say it all when they enter the chart at no2 and then fall out the top 20 the week after.

 

If thats not trying to manipulate fans, i dont know what is. Its there in black and white and the fans fall for it with every single.

 

Infact i cant believe they get away with it actually, especially that begging thing. In a society where adverts aimed at kids are banned, its shocking that they are allowed to plead with young fans to download, download, download.

 

I mean ok rule the world by take that might have had a lot of downloads etc but it was also one of the biggest songs of the year and had an amazing chart run.

can i just say Since they left their label they haven't been sending out emails/blogs every day or whatever saying buy the single/downloads ect

 

With 'one for the radio' they only made 2 video blogs telling fans whats out

and with 'Lies' they made a blog sunday and sent out an email this week about the album

at recent summer gigs they didn't even say are single is out on 15th sept

they just said heres 'lies' are new song

 

as for sigings i see no problem with Mcfly meeting their fans to sign a cd

i see it as they are actually getting of their ass and promoting the cd

i Think mcfly fans just like buying the cds

however Mcfly seem to be doing better on downloads now

 

these new downloads on sunday do they actually add to Lies sales for nextweek or will they chart alone?

The fact that Lies is a better single than anything they've ever done almost gave me respect for McFly.....but they've fallen back into their old tricks. Luckily, it won't work for them.

 

I agree, and i have nothing against all male acts atall.
