Ooh I was considering Jazmine Sullivan :o I think it's a bit too RnB for BJSC though.

but Brandy won :o surely R&B is one of the favoured genres of the BJSC, after pop

If it was my call I would go for Jamali - Secrets out of all of your selections.

But then again I thought Brandy's winning song was average, and expected Shontelle's T Shirt to be the R'N'B big hit on BJSC 10 so what do I know.

same here :( I thought T-Shirt would be huge, I can just see one day, one of these BJSC flops going onto be a huge UK hit, and then being a multichart No.1, and everyone will be like 'I loved it all along really'

T-Shirt has a lot of potential to be a future hit in my opinion, and you can just imagine most of Buzzjack loving it if it did become a big UK hit

I always found it surprising that If This Is Love by The Saturdays crashed out in one of the semi-finals in one of the contests...why? is Up really that much better? perhaps people in that particular semi didn't give the song a chance, but now everyone on BJ seems to love The Saturdays, it seems that they could do well with anything

Yes all of you people are so right although I wasnt a fan of tshirt. But the contest is unpredictable. Any opinions on Tasha Baxter Fade To Black before I finalise Secrets?

Tasha Baxter is more of the sort of music that I normally like.

...... But I think you have a real chance of landing a Top 10 finish with Secrets IMHO (put it this way I would be shocked if you entered it and it failed to make the Finals), and I prefer this track as it has great vocals, a very strong melody, and memorable hook of a chorus that will stick in peoples heads even if it sounds a little dated (it strangely reminds me of Samantha Mumba meets Stacie Orrico).

Jamali's song is insanely catchy, it has a hook that has made me fall in love with it, the chorus and whole feel of the song is very nice, and girl groups usually go down extremely well on Buzzjack

put it this way, if it was sent last month it would have got my 10 points underneath Camille, it could get more or less this month depending on the quality of the songs, but I will definitely give it points if it's in my semi/reaches the final

Tasha Baxter is quite catchy, Jamali is kinda growing on me

Jamali's Secrets lyrics partially leaked!
'Before the break of day in my bed I silently lay.
My soul ice been freed at night, now it seems to take its mind.
Are you talking of your lies and games, you played your part. In the shadow of my longer high? If you consider you hurt my pride. You are the one that kept secrets from me. Now that you. .

Oct 6th : Kathaldazia

Nonsuch's entry Suzie McNeil visits the new nation of Kathaldazia to perform her Semi Final 1 entry and.... her song for Canada's 2008 Olympians Believe.

Ojnoj Update:

South African trio Jamali arrived and performed in Ojnoj for 5000 fans at Alvenstein Shopping Mall. The Mall was shut off for the best part of 3 hours whilst Jamali performed tracks from their stunning new album including an exclusive performance of Ojnoj favourite 'Take A Bow' (originally performed by Rihanna) as well as their brilliant BJSC entry for Kathaldazia 'Secrets'. One fan told us "Oh My God, they were just incredible, they sang some amazing songs and I loved their rendition of 'Take a Bow' I think I will be voting for these to win. They are beautiful girls and I'm so glad i was one of 5000 people to see them" As the fans left happy and singing 'Secrets', Jamali were a bit freaked out by the amount of posters there were advertising Ojnoj representative Britney Spears and her exclusive Comeback single 'Womanizer' which is Number 1 on downloads 4 weeks prior to release. Although Jamali thought the citizens of Ojnoj were "very Friendly and Nice" they were just a bit angry at the posters of Britney Spears blowing in their faces. Well at the end of the concert, it's not hard to see why Jamali are hot on the heels of Hot Favourite Pixie.

Janelle performs in Kathaldazia

After a series of perfomances, tonight Janelle of Kopecka touched down in Kathaldazia on her long-running promo tour to support her entry 'Many Moons', which is currently said to be struggling in a semi-final of very high quality.

The Kathaldazia Moon- 15th Oct

With Jamali on the road with their promo tour and performance taking place left right and centre in Kathaldazia. We as a nation have been extremely busy and will delay our votes to the last minute. Indecisiveness is the headline and hopefully some more listens and some more artists touring here we could clear up and make those all important votes!

Suzie McNeill's Kathaldazia Visit

Nonsuch's Suzie just became nationally available on downloads and after her short tour of the country she is soaring to success! Jamali also recently had a breathtaking tour of Nonsuch and hope for just the same success as Suzie is having here.

Kathaldazia and Ojnoj's Musical Ties

The girls of Jamali were absolutely overwhelmed by the ratings which they received from Ojnoj and are hoping to keep them up! Britney Spears for the first time ever was recently released on K-Radio with a suprisingly catchy remix of Everytime. Ojnoj's first export to hit K-Radios and hopefully not the last!

Janelle Gives Goosebumps!

Even after just a short touch down, Janelle is almost a mega star in the musically oblivious Kathaldazia. She has roared up the radio charts and her video is being requested like mad! Her visit was dearly appreciated and we hope to see another superstar from the Kopecka here again, soon.

WOW - 19th Oct

Despite very good odds and world tour. Jamali only got votes from a few countries in our semi and didnt make it through. Kathaldazia were quite shocked themselves. As a pop direction, one would think, should work. So for the next contest we are going with symphonic metal band. Within Temptation

You've still got two more DNQ's before you equal FNTNickodonia

I know how you feel though :(

I gave you points by the way.

be satisfied with the fact that for me personally, it is in the top 3 songs I have ever discovered via this contest  it won't be plummeting down my chart anytime soon either, like most BJSC entries do
