'Remedy' is the second single...

That's good news. From my limited knowledge of this album I think it's the best choice. The performance on Later was much better than the New In Town performance, although her chicken arms kinda spoiled it a little...

Yay! Oh and I LOVE your sig Jake!

Why thank you :o

Mr McElwee is a LEGENDARY broadcast meteorologist.

'Remedy' sounds rather great in full though that was far from her best performance.
I am in love with 'New In Town' right now. This really better do well.

Me too...Somehow it has racked up over 90 plays on my iTunes...despite the backlash I'm still enjoying her music.

I'm still really trying to get into New In Town, but I can't :nocheer: It's not a patch on her early songs like Stuck On Repeat, Meddle, Mathematics or (Every Little) Earthquake. Remedy is only OK too IMHO, but I'm basing that on the Jools performance only...
I'm really not arsed with the original version of 'New in Town', though the Fred Falke mix is divine. Maybe if I hadn't heard that first...
#11 in midweeks, physicals must be strong since it hasn't even made top 15 on iTunes!
It seems the video debacle really has damaged this single's chances. I never would've believed a few weeks back that this could chart outside the top 10
Popjustice posted an excellent interview with Little Boots that must be read, though I'm not much of a fan of her after reading it. :/ It brings up a lot of good questions.
The way forums dissect campaigns, it would seem she's not happy with the video backlash :( But look at the effect it's had on the single!

Um... why do you think she came across badly? I'm assuming you do. She was very honest and straight-talking.

One minute she's saying 'I want to be a popstar!' yet then she says 'well, I wasn't exactly trying to make a hit'. She comes off as quite indecisive / hypocritical and she really seems to lack any conviction with what she's saying.

I wasn't a big fan of the way she tackled the situation about the video. She should've admitted it's rubbish :P

She said the goal is to sell records and that she might not get a top 40 and that's not too bad
