I will be getting this album as I own all the others, I like the sound of some of those titles.

And Pet Shop Boys, utterly adore them so I am excited.

Girls Aloud release their new album ‘Out Of Control’ on November 3rd through Fascination Records.

The 12-track album sees the UK’s premiere girl group continue to take pop music to places it’s never been before. Five albums into their career they are trailblazers who have consistently raised the bar and changed what it means to be a girlband in the 21st century.

Working again with the Xenomania team, Girls Aloud have been constantly challenging themselves in the studio. As Kimberley says : “We want to impress the fans with what we do, so we’ve tried to up our game with this album and step outside the comfort zone.” Nadine adds: “Our aim from the beginning was to come up with songs that didn’t sound like anything else out there.”

Girls Aloud headed straight back into the studio straight after their sold out ‘Tangled Up’ arena tour this Spring. They took a break from recording to perform a thrilling set on the main stage at the V Festival this August. The lead single, ‘The Promise’ sees the girls explore the lush sounds of the Sixties. It’s a sound that has already proved to be a winner. Even before release the single is already one of the most played Girls Aloud songs on radio. And the Sixties drive-in movie themed video has been inescapable if you have been anywhere near a music channel.

Over the course of the new album you get the sound-clash of styles that you expect from a Girls Aloud album. From the dancehall beats of ‘Revolution In The Head’ to the Eighties’s electro synths of ‘Love Is Pain’ and the rollicking block-party chants of ‘We Wanna Party.’ Then there is ‘The Loving Kind’, a song that has already sent bloggers into meltdown before anyone has heard a note. The song is a co-write with Pet Shop Boys and sees two great British pop forces come together to produce a song that is set to become a Girls Aloud classic. The drum’n’bass beats of ‘Live In The Country’ flips the sound yet again. ‘Out Of Control’ is an album only Girls Aloud can pull off - and the reason why the UK has been in love with them for so long.

“For everything else that goes on around us, singing pop songs is what we do,” says Sarah. “This is why we got into music in the first place. We feel like veterans now coming back with a fifth album but in some ways we learnt so much making this album and feel like we’ve still got a long way to go.”

1. Something kinda ewww

2. Either Sarah designed this whilst violently drunk or...

3. Sugababes sabotaged GA's artwork HQ

not the best but not completley awful. at least their on the cover this time

f***ing horrible, both the single cover and the album cover. It would have been at least half acceptable is the text/font wasn't as tacky as could possibly be.

The GH, Tangled Up and this have to be 3 of the worst album covers in history, why can't they seem to get it right? :(

Erm, I really don't get the hate about the single and album cover.

Only the font looks shocking at first, but it has grown on me now.

About the picture, it is bloody amazing! I love the GIRLS ALOUD on the wall and the reflecting floor. I love their clothes style. They look f***ing fabulous! I love their attitude in the pic, sexy (not to say sexual) but still glamourous and not rude.

Really, I don't understand you can say it's rubbish... It's easily their second best album cover after WWTNS! (and may be better), and I love it ^_^

The girls themselves especially Sarah looks good.

To be honest i dont think they've ever had an album cover i truely like. Chemistry wasnt too bad though.

I think the covers are ok ^_^ The font is awful though, granted. I am so excited about this, I am seriously loving Girls Aloud more than ever atm

Is this confirmed as the cover? Either way i love it!
i love the picture, they look like the UK's girl band so job done in my opinion.

I don't quite understand you? They ARE a UK girlband...

I remember the outroar with the GH cover  With the Irish flag the wrong way round
the picture of them is nice but i don't like the font

Ooo. If you love this then you'd love the cover I designed. I shat in my hand and smeared it over white paper, creating 5 people who look vaguely like the girls.

You'll jizzism over yourself when you see mine :o

DEAR GOD THERE IS NOTHING AESTHETICALLY PLEASING ABOUT THAT COVER.

It's just all kinds of terrible on so many levels. I'm sorry, but everyone who says that the cover is nice is just seriously daft. And this is coming from someone who likes Girls Aloud. Jeez, people need to stop thinking that to be a 'true fan' they have to like EVERYTHING they do, including artwork. I mean, come on, LOOK AT IT. It's an effing paint job that a prepubescent kid could do in under one minute. Absolutely terrible. It's like they're giving the middle finger to art. If you actually LEGITIMATELY think you love this cover, then I expect you must be creaming over Catfights and Spotlights?

I love Girls Aloud. :o I do. OOMPH some absolute choons. It just disappoints me to see people think that they have to love everything they do. =/ It's a bad cover. End of. Does it mean the album will be bad? No.

What's with the awful repetition of 'Girls Aloud' anyway? =/ Was there a point of having it in the photo and then as text as well? Looks sloppy. This was posted on Popjustice, God knows why they didn't do something like this...

And I thought they couldn't have a worse album cover than the normal of Chemistry :puke2: Which just happens to be the only edition of any of their albums I haven't got as I just have the christmas edition.
