Great manager but I'm not sure he's really what they're looking for plus what's the point in appointing a manager for just five games? :huh:

Weird choice imo.

 

It's like Ashley, picked the name out of a hat or something.

The former Crazy Gang (Wimbledon) manager was probably the only person willing to answer Dennis Wise's phonecalls. :lol:

He even said on Football Focus today that he knows he's only there because A) He's the only person that would take the job and B.) They're the only team that would employ him. :lol: :lol:

 

And he's far from a good manager, there;s a reason why no one will employ him. In the last five years he's had one job (at my team, Nottingham Forest) and yes his record looked ok (W15, D14 & L15) he left us in dire straights, signing a load of old journeymen, losing the dressing room and left us with a squad who had poor morale and fitness levels!

 

He did ok to start with, which is I guess what Newcastle are after...

 

And I found it hilarious the reason he couldn't take charge for todays game was the he was serving the second of a two match ban he got from his time with Forest. :heehee:
