geraldine was released last night i think around 11pm

When was released the Geraldine track? If it was this morning then its an impressive start :o :(

 

It was available on HMV download site yesterday (before the actual show) but on iTunes - much later. I'm not a downloady sort of person though - I have to have the physical copy (if only for the cover photo of Geraldine). Plus - I prefer the Two Up Two Down version which I think is only available on the physical.

I think he will; Pink sold 44k last week so Leon needs to sell to about 1% of the X-Factor audience that he performed to the claim the number 1 spot from her. Her sales should fall next week as well so he will need to not even sell that many to get to the top spot.

 

I can't see Snow Patrol selling as many physicals as Leon and I don't think Peter Kay will get to the top spot this time; unless he gets a load of radio play, which I guess is possible.

Sorry Dan - I have to disagree ... no criticism can be harsh enough! It pains me to say this but I'd rather listen to Westlife than this little weed!

Well Chris Moyles is going to play Geraldine every day! He played it in full and then about half a dozen snippets just this morning! I just hope some radio stations start to play the TUTD version.

1% of the audience for sure isn't that foolish - sorry, but he was bad. And the song is a bit middle of road- neither there nor here. If you are a fan , I understand you say you liked it , but try see it from others' perspective - even the newbies were better, in their first public appearance , than then winner from 2007...

Pink can still keep up sales and she really has a good tune.

He has slowed down alot already! I thought it would have been number 1 already after XFactor- 2 days ago!

as much as i dislike leon, id rather he was no1 than geraldine
