Posted October 1, 200816 yr I thought I could make a topic on the reviews on Britney's single 'Womanizer' plus when the album has leaked maybe the reviews could go in here! Delete if you want to mods, but i am just soo bored at the moment  I'll start with a review from Digital Spy! :cheer: Britney's back with a bang Friday, September 26 2008, 17:20 BST By Nick Levine, Music Editor We all thought we were going to hear it on Monday, but then they said it was being pushed back a week. And now, relatively suddenly, it's popped up on the internet. What are we talking about? The new Britney single of course! Thankully, the uber-hyped 'Womanizer' is worth the kerfuffle. It's a stomping robopop song that would fit quite comfortably onto last year's Blackout album - definitely a good thing. Britney's voice, less treated/vocodered/generally dicked around with than on recent singles, sounds deeper than you might remember. "You got the swagger of champions," she tells the titular philanderer. "Too bad for you, you just can't find the right companion." Zing indeed! Truth be told, 'Womanizer' isn't quite as jawdropping as 'Gimme More' was on first listen, but with the Britney comeback bandwagon rolling on merrily, it's easily strong enough to give her a sixth number one. Bring on the album. What do you think of 'Womanizer'? Can it return Britney to number one?
October 4, 200816 yr Author Not exactly a Review but Lil Jon's take on 'Circus' Lil Jon: It’s Going To Be A Big Album Posted by Kaos on Oct 3, 2008 l Related l Filed Under No Related Post Filed Under: Music People reports Britney Spears’s upcoming album, Circus, promises to deliver club-banging dance hits that will land her back on top, according to music producer and rapper Lil Jon. “It’s going to be a big album,” he told PEOPLE at the VH1 Save the Music Hip Hop Honors after party in New York Thursday night. “Britney is very intelligent and she’s really set up [for success],” says Jon, who is one of the album’s producers. “She is focused and she wants it again, so it’s definitely going to happen for her.” He also expects the record to be a mainstay in the clubs. “Her stuff is all about making people party,” he says. Spears’s last album, Blackout, stalled due to her much-publicized personal drama. Rapper Fabolous, who remixed the single “Break the Ice,” told reporters at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors taping earlier in the night that “we weren’t able to do a video because of her condition at the time.” He adds: “A lot of people count her out, but she’s been able to bounce back from adversity. She’s back looking, if not as good as before, even better. I would love to do more remixes for Britney.” Spears is set to release Circus on Dec. 2, her 27th birthday. She debuted the first single, “Womanizer,” last month on New York’s radio station Z100. She told the radio show that a tour is “definitely” in the works for next year.

October 8, 200816 yr Author DigitalSpy Official Review! Britney Spears: 'Womanizer' Released on Monday, November 24 2008 By Nick Levine, Music Editor She's gone from bleary and bloated to glossy and foxy, made a triumphant return to the VMAs and lined up a mouth-watering live appearance on The X Factor. All Britney needs to pull off the comeback of the year - nay, decade - is a killer single. Thankfully, 'Womanizer' is more than up to the task. Sounding like a great lost track from last year's Blackout album, this robo-pop stomper is sexy, as unshakable as a guilty secret and packed with sass. "You got the swagger of a champion," she tells the titular philanderer. "Too bad for you, you just can't find the right companion." Is it good enough for number one? Definitely - and you'd need a heart of stone to wish against it. ****
