The reason they HAVE a second performance each is to help the judges decide, so how can the judges be criticised for being swayed by an emotive second performance? It's the very reason said performance exists. To help them decide.

 

I know thats supposedly what it is there for, but surely they should be keeping the potential in the competition? I mean neither Scott or Daniel would have/will win, but Scott received more positive comments from the judges so surely he has more right to be in the competition?

 

erm it had nothing to do with talent Daniel going through it was oh the emotion because of his dead wife and there reasons showed that therefore my opinion is as singing judges they were ridiculous

Not really, because you know those things opinions? Well maybe Louis preffered Daniel and that was his opinion and as a judge with a vote he's perfectly entitled to it?

 

Acting as if you're opinion re: the dead wife swaying the vote is fact - totally silly.

 

And my opinion is that Louis' opinion was wrong

i dont mean to be rude im sure losing a wife you love is heartbreaking but i watch x factor for talented singers and for them to lose there chances because of reasons unrelated to anything x factor represents annoys me

You really think they judge solely on that performance? That's rubbish. If you really believe that, then Ruth should have sailed through the bottom two last week instead of it actually being left to deadlock, as she clearly gave the better performance.

 

If Alexandra or one of the other ladies were to appear in the bottom two with Daniel and she just so happened to give a much more terrible performance than he would undoubtedly give, do you really think the judges would forget everything else Alex has done & achieved in the competition, forget how talented she is vocally, etc and just judge her on that performance alone? I don't think so.

 

And they bang on about it being a singing competition. Danny cannot sing, and he certainly doesn't have star quality or the 'x' factor.

No band/artist is ever judged on just the performance...come on! Sugababes are not great live singers but they have done VERY well for themselves! - Love them!
