Ruth - she has a powerful voice I like her style - she is different! Very good performance. I can see her have a career in music even if she dont win X Factor ...8/10

Ruth: Good song choice. She has a good voice, but it's a BIT too high/screechy but good I think she will be safe for another week. 8/10

She sounds so much like Celine Dion!! Quite surprised that Dannii actually found quite a decent song choice that almost went quite well with her voice. Would of preferred something more aggressive though.7/10

Oh and it would of sounded daft if she sung that in Spanish.

Uh-Oh Girlband doing an MJ Song I REALLY like 'Heal the World' :( I hope they pull it off.

And kicking of Michael Jackson week is Alexandra with Mariah Carey’s version of the Jackson 5's 3rd US chart-topper from 1970 I’ll Be There. However, the very fact she completely pulled that off rightly suggests what a great performance that was. 8/10

 

Scott:

Great song choice of She's Out Of My Life, an the Lee from Blue sound and lookalike pulls in a very impressive & emotional vocal performance to erase last week's awfulness. 7/10

 

Ruth:

Taking on I Just Can't Stop Loving You, that was a really good sensual performance. Her slight screechiness can be put down to her obvious throat problems. Despite that I really liked that. 3 Very good performances on the bounce. 7/10

Scott wasnt very good, just appalling if you ask me.

 

Ruth was great but she was better last week. I agree with Simon, she needs to keep her Spanish side of her.

 

Dermot annoys me though, why does he have to disagree with anything minorly bad the judges say.

Simon is SO wrong. The singing in Spanish thing will tire if she does it every week, good on Ruth and Dannii for deciding to make it English-only. Great vocals from her (and she was styled wonderfully). The backing vocalists were turned up high but that's not her fault. 9/10

Alexandra: Really liked her performance, she always gives a very proffessional looking performance too. 8/10

 

Scott: I'm glad he got the chance to perform again and this time he was quite good I thought. 7/10

 

Ruth: She has a strong voice and the performance was excellent but the song itself didn't do much for me. 7/10

Eugh, Jacksons WORST song.

Girlband:

I’m repulsed by the song myself, and the blatant cheesyness that they’re bringing to the track. Vocally on their on, each member sounds awful, but they sounds okay together. However, Bad Lashes did not deserve to be kicked out by these. [And what’s up with them using backing tracks, there’s already four of them, we don’t need another choir to back them up].

Girlband suffered from Louis' idea of a 'big stage production' which was actually really cringey LOL. Good vocals except for the intro. They can harmonise quite well at times. Not great, but good. 7/10

Girlband: The First two (Sisters) should sing something from 'Annie' :heehee: I don't think they sound right together as a girlband. They are better solo. It's so cheesy! I don't think I liked that! Looks to me that they're in the bottom 2 again.3/10

 

And Louis WHY should they be nice when it wasn't good?

Girlband - I want to like them - but this was dreadful and boring - they can sing though but I hated it, it was a bit odd... 2/10

LOL. Would never have given that song to her of all people. She really doesn’t have that nice of a voice. However, she sounds much better when she’s controlling her voice and staying on one level. Much easier on the ears, but overall- she managed to murder one of my most favourite Michael Jackson songs.
