October 14, 200817 yr down 5 that's not bad, I half expected Boyzone's chart run to be something like 5-13-26-43-70-OUT but it looks as if it might spend a bit longer than that in the top 75! The same can't be said for Oasis who are still freefalling
October 14, 200817 yr down 12  Thanks! - and their album is looking likely to drop a place after just one week! Edited October 14, 200817 yr by J*hnJ*07
October 14, 200817 yr I don't want Girls Aloud to get to #01 really :( I mean if excellent singles such as 'Call The Shots', 'Something Kinda Ooooh' and 'The Show' couldn't then I don't think this pretty average song by them should. SKO and CTS had sales of 45k on first week, everytime they were stopped to #1 because of huge competition (Leona, etc) or unfair competition (McFly). With such sales, they would have been easily #1 on other weeks, for example this week! Pink should sell about 40k, which means the new releases (Leon & The Sat) are not going to have great sales this week.
October 14, 200817 yr But theres nothing new out next week really apart from GA is there and everyone in the chart is gona sell less than this week aswell. Pink dropped from 1st week 53k to 2nd week 44k so she's only gona do 40k at best this week surely? Edited October 14, 200817 yr by Robintime11
October 14, 200817 yr Author OK, can we leave the GA talk till next week, they are not even in the mids, seem we have gone a bit off topic now.
October 14, 200817 yr I know this is gonna sound dumb but the saturdays i kw are at #2 in the midweeks on iTunes! But does that mean if they stay at #2 on iTunes this sun that they will chart at #2 in the sunday chart? Sorry dont get it lol?

No - Not necessarily as there are physicals and other downloads sights as Itunes isnt the only one - Gives a good indication as to where it might chart though
October 14, 200817 yr Woo for Saturdays!!! #4! This is brilliant! YAH I'm so happy Just when people were rubbishing them as if they're the pop version of Gay Dad, (one massive hit, nothing afters and fade into obscurity despite the music press hyping them up) they come up with an even bigger hit for the follow-up. Good on them.

I would predict top40 run of 5-13-20-31-39. And there was always a chance Oasis would be knocked off the top spot when Keane are releasing an album.
October 14, 200817 yr Why's everyone relishing the drop of Oasis?!, their album is still selling strong and they're one of the most important bands this country has ever produced.
October 14, 200817 yr Well Up is a better song than If This Is Love, and it doesn't rely on such an obvious sample. Good stuff :cheer: Shame about Sash though :( Bought it yesterday. Awesome for Keane too, their new album is fantastic, bought it this morning :w00t: Edited October 14, 200817 yr by TomKay

October 14, 200817 yr I think it will be this by Sunday 1. Pink 2. The Saturdays 3. Geraldine Mcqueen 4. Leon Jackson 5. Kings Of Leon
