October 16, 200816 yr Funhouse is just the standout track for me. I like Mean to, it's very Aerosmith-influenced.
October 16, 200816 yr OMG album is great all songs, apart i don't believe in you and glitter in the air = just ok. But the rest GREAT +++, my two fave are Sober and Funhouse, great great great!
October 16, 200816 yr This album is beyond amazing. Sober, Funhouse, Please Don't Leave Me, Bad Influence, I Don't Believe You, Mean, Ave Mary A, It's All Your Fault. Edited October 16, 200816 yr by Ethereal
October 16, 200816 yr Ahh I'm fighting myself not to download it as I kinda stupidly suggested it as a Christmas present and it'll be a bit c**p to get an album I've already had on my computer for two months. Maybe asking for December release albums would have been a better idea. The response is kinda mixed so far, which only makes me want to listen to it more so I can see which one is my opinion.
October 17, 200816 yr ^ Why not strike it off and change it for something else? No point waiting for December is there tbh? This (for me) is easily her best album yet. It's not as accessible but the production, lyrical depth and intricacies make for a totally rewarding and lovely listen. Some really beautiful moments; something I don't often say of pop albums...

It's not as accessible but the production, lyrical depth and intricacies make for a totally rewarding and lovely listen. Some really beautiful moments; something I don't often say of pop albums... The lyrics are good, but it's not as dynamic as I'm Not Dead sounded, and it doesn't sound like she's musically progressed much... Although, I still love it. :D It's just I wouldn't rate it past I'm Not Dead or Try This (imo).
October 17, 200816 yr I agree there isn't alot of progression. But tbh the I'm Not Dead formula worked amazingly for her so I can't say I'm surprised. This Is How It Goes Down = Centerfold Ave Mary A = Runaway Bad Influence = Cuz I Can Crystal Ball = Dear Mr President (Kind Of) Please Don't Leave Me = Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) At the moment this is probably her best album for me. She isn't really trying to be dynamic...This is quite clearly a personal record, easily her most personal ever. Beautiful moments as Jake said and sheer dance-your-arse-off moments. Perfect <3 Edited October 17, 200816 yr by Ryan
October 17, 200816 yr ^ Why not strike it off and change it for something else? No point waiting for December is there tbh? You're right, it's not like anyone will have bought it for me since it's not out. :magic: I might wait another two weeks though as I rarely, if ever, buy an album if I've downloaded it and I kinda want it on CD. Until then, there's always Youtube.
October 17, 200816 yr It's hit me as amazing straight away. Sober, Bad Influence and Funhouse are immense

I adore this I love this album and considering i've only listened to most of these songs once or twice, they will only continue to grow on me really.
October 17, 200816 yr Here's my quick review 1. So What - Everyone has heard this by now but yes, fantastic catchy pop-rock - 9/10 2. Sober - I was surprised that this was a Danja production, its not as a good as his usual as the chorus would be great with some synths in it, the track itself is great though - 9/10 3. I Don't Believe You - Amazing , really emotional and amazing melody, fantastic - 10/10 4. One Foot Wrong - Great vocals but the song itself is nothing special - 6.5/10 5. Please Don't Leave Me - Really good song, brilliant lyrics, chorus lacks something though - 9/10 6. Bad Influence - Fantastic fun track, a better beat and more synths would of been great however - 9/10 7. Funhouse - This is just a filler for me, its not bad though - 6.5/10 8. Crystal Ball - Sometimes the simple songs are the best. Really  this - 10/10 9. Mean - Indeed this reminds me of Aerosmith, what a brilliant song - 10/10 10. It's All Your Fault - The chorus is super, and so is the track overall but it does indeed lack something - 8.5/10 11. Ave Mary A - Wow, what a great song  - 10/10 12. Glitter In The Air - The lyrics to this are fantastic, and the songs very good to - 9/10 13. This Is How It Goes Down – Verses do nothing much for me but the chorus makes up for it - 8/10 Edited October 17, 200816 yr by Conor
