So the co-frontman who wrote the lyrics which touched our hearts and made us Libertines fans but to some people he's the 'junkie rocker' they read about in The Sun and label him as a 'tw*t' and probably couldn't name any song from Libertines or Babyshambles, to some he's a tw*t who p*ssed it all away! But the question is what do YOU think? We like outside opinions in this forum btw so if you're opinion is backed up then we can take it when you slag him off :D

Anyway the fascinating thing I find with Peter is that I can never lose faith in him.. Down In Albion was a low point and it looked like there was no return but yet I always hoped that he could rise above from it and stick two fingers to Sun readers who are swayed to believe he was some waste of space as Up The Bracket being my favourite album ever I knew what he was capable of! And then Shotters Nation came around and it's like he's halfway there! He sounds awake and it's at least a 7 or 8 out of 10 album but still not close to what he's capable of. I just feel that some people (with Amy Winehouse too here) don't understand exactly what an 'addict' is and how hard it is for people to get over addictions and that Peter was stupid to get himself to the state he is now but there are signs when he looks like he may be on the mend but then something always happens to prove I was wrong but maybe now with the heat off him and Amy being the target instead then we can hope that the motivation of Carl possibly considering a reformation if he can do it then maybe he can do it. The good he's done outdoes the bad for me, the man behind the band which I regard as my favourite band ever and so what a member on here has describes as my 'blind faith' towards him will be forever because of how good he can be.
