Although I adore EHB i'm wondering if it would be better to end C&S era after NCD and just work on album no.7 with no 3rd release.

that would be the worst thing ever, one more release is needed.

i really want EHB to be released! It has too!

I'm thinking that No Can Do can get top 30 now if it continues climbing on ITunes!

69. I said this'd happen! Hopefully it climbs again soon. I don't want #60 to be it's itunes peak...
I saw on a Dutch website that Island Records annouced that No Can Do is the last single of C&S.
Makes sense, i dread to think where the third single would have charted

That was obvious really, a third single would be a lost cause whatever it was.

What they really need to do now is pull something killer out of the bag for their next lead single and start afresh.

I LOVE this era, well only the music. They have not really big performance anymore.

But this era is just not working for the people. They don't need to go back to the AYN sound or the PTB sound but maybe again some "new" music. Not standard music.

If the next era is gonna flop .. then ..

No .. we have faith! We will see what's coming next.

* Ps. Island Records said also that No Can Do is not going to be released in Europe

I'm actually surprised this is heading for Top 40 after its dismal iTunes performance. I'm pleased though, if it's Top 40 it's not nearly as much of a flop as it could be.
Maybe cos everyone who wants the song has now got it, other songs like Alesha's Breathe Slow (saw the video on the Hits first time today) are having an immediate effect which is also causing No Can Do to slide

please let it stay top40

I think it will. #36 for the third day running. I don't see it dropping out now.

I am pulling blame with the record label... No Can Do looks set to scrape into the top 40 this week but i am sure that many people could list a number of reasons why and alot of it lies with the label...

1) Wrong Singles

I still stand by the fact 'Change' and 'Denial' should never have been released 'My Love is Pink' and 'Never Gonna Dance Again' both had a stronger sound and could have helped the album whereas 'Change' and 'Denial' fall a bit flat, 'Mended By You' is a better ballard more on the lines of previous Suga hits like 'too lost in you'.

The second album is even worse, 'No Can Do' does not have the strength of better songs or the wow factor to make people buy the album... God 'EHB' at least then they took a chance!!! i'd rather that, i just cant get into 'NCD' (my lowest charting sugababe song by a long way on my personal charts)

2) Bad timing

I am amazed they didnt wait to release a second single mid january? why release at such an odd time where shops are closed, xmas songs are out and big hits from last year are re-climbing due to being the end of the year!

3) Rush release

Why did they move so quick, why not wait to find an 'about you now' classic! their is no doubt radio is on their side but they need a big anthem!

Interesting thoughts although it should be noted that Change sold well and helped the album to an extent; I think in singles sales it's their 11th-biggest, out of 22? Denial is also a massive fan favourite in general...

No Can Do 62 on itunes now. LOL at how it constantly bounds up and down and up and down and up and down and zzzz.
