good hopefully it makes people buy the album until then and throughout Christmas!

I heard the song on Capital radio twice today! Sounded good and they have cut the ending a bit- but it sounds much better!

Where did you get the Chart Show details from?
Children In Need will barely help their slot is after 10.30

As long as it's before midnight, it'll be watched by a couple of million. It's no lesser promo than Paul O'Grady etc.

Why are they doing paul o grady a month before release ?

It's a good thing, isn't it? It might harm their peak position but at the same time it'll get people into the shops to buy the album as christmas sales build up, instead of just during Christmas week. Better to open up your chances of 4 weeks of christmas sales than of one or two weeks.

Yep, good idea

Hopefully it actually does help- big time! The album really needs all the help it can get- it's such a good album

Yeah, i thought Girls promo started pretty early too. Seems to be the way often now. I think it's becoming sales>chart position more and more

I think the album sales would matter more than placing now.

I still think the album will get a new peak when it starts getting noticed a little more!

^^ the trouble is, the album could get lost in stores if its low in the chart.

Its a lot better to be high in the chart and then get an extra boost from a new single. Revitalising a flagging album is not easy.

it sounds good doesn't it?

Capital's DJ's were loving it up yesterday- saying how good it was, which is always good!

I do hope it's huge. I don't think I love it quite as much as I do 'Change', but this is a better song to reflect Christmas spirit. Listening to it I really do feel it's quite festive in a soulful sort of way.
