did anyone used to watch it? I used to love it! one of my fave shows ever, shame it went downhill so much in the end :( Fave characters/storylines?

I loved the first 3? series I think, can't remember how many were good.

I only watched the last 2/3 series, I forget how many there were altogether. I really enjoyed it, even though apparently it was going downhill at that time.

I loved it, such a shame both this and Footballers Wives are gone. It did go slightly downhill towards the end though.

Series 6, 7 and 8 are immense. I didn't watch before that and I heard it went downhill too, so I can only imagine how incredible it was previously! Fave characters were Natalie, Janine and Lou :wub: And of course Bodybag and Fenner. God, bring it back. I'd die.

If you think the last few series were good then you HAVE to see the first ones with Simone Lahbib, Clare King etc, excellent stuff

It was only good up until Pat Kerrigan came in and whooped Natalie's ass.

 

After that, it was blah.

I've got series 1-8 on dvd and watch them over and over and over and over..... :lol:

 

My fave characters are mostly from the first few series though, Denny & Shaz :wub:

 

My fave character from the later series is probably Pat :heart:

 

I love the storylines when Shell & Denny escape with the help of Fenner and they visit bodybag

 

I havent watched it for a while, maybe I should start watching them all again from the first espisode :lol:

I used to adore this show!

 

The first four seasons were brilliant! It was really gripping and thriling. My favourite characters were Yvonne, the Julies, Denny, Shaz and Sandra. The episode where Sandra died was so emotional and bought tears to my eyes.

 

It lost the plot a bit between Series 5 with Fenner literally getting away with murder. I didn't watch 6 and 7, but I got back into watching 8 which I think was a series of two halves as there was some really great episodes, but some really bad ones and what didnt help was that tiresome story of the new governor falling in love with the doctor and his double life in which the sister knew, and it was like an ongoing thing. Pat Kerrigan made Series 8 finally getting her revenge on Natalie Buxton.

 

I wouldnt have axed it though. I mean what have we had in its place instead - just tiresome going nowhere dramas like "The Fixer" and anything with Caroline Quentin in. Plus endless reality c**p.

 

 

I've been watching series 4 online this week, i've watched like 3 episodes a night :lol: I forget how utterly brilliant it was in the early days :wub: Linda Henry is amazing as Yvonne. And Clare King. I need to collect the dvds!

i dont remember exactly, i got them ages ago, but i didnt get them all in one go. i think i got them from play.com, they were cheaper on there than most places at the time. I've certainly got my use out of them anyway :D

I have series 6-8 on DVD but still need to collect the early episodes :lol:
