Oh, and shall we hedge bets on next week's song choices? I recon Diana will sing Touch My Body since it's easy and the lyrics are a bit 'quirky' (hoo haa Diana sang the word 'youtube' Diana is down with the kids Diana for the win rah) and Daniel should go with Bye Bye. :kink: LOL.

Oh no! 'Touch My Body' is far too smutty for Little Miss Perfect to sing. :lol: That title would be very wishful thinking for Daniel but it would actually work for him - "This is for my people's who just lost somebody" - perfect for his story. -_-

 

This is what I'd like to or expect to hear them sing:

 

Diana - Through The Rain

Alexandra - Always Be My Baby

Laura - Honey

Ruth - Vision Of Love

Daniel - Without You

Rachel - We Belong Together

Eoghan - My All

JLS - One Sweet Day

 

I'm sure I'll be wrong for most of them but it's probably what I'd give them. I can't see them going for anything that missed the top 10 or anything from her last few eras except WBT. I think Diana and Eoghan could easily swap songs (it's just I don't expect Simon will pick anything from this side of the millennium :heehee:) and either of them could work 'Butterfly' but I think that's a bit too minor to be selected. Alexandra, Laura and Ruth could work pretty much any Mariah song, but these are what I'd like them to sing realistically. I think 'We Belong Together' could suit any of the three too, I was just finding it hard to think of something for Rachel and even WBT is a bit too 'girly' for her. 'Without You' is all I can think of for Daniel except maybe 'Against All Odds' as neither of them were originally by Mariah so he could go at it from that angle. Giving him AAO would give one of the girls a chance to give it the performance it deserves. As for JLS, well it's a song with Boyz II Men and I'm sure he's compared them to them before so it works, it's also quite and old one so Louis should have heard it.

JLS - I expect them to do One Sweet Day too :o

Dear god am I the only one on here who think the Diana bummingg on here is a tad TOO much. Yes she's good but she's not amazing really :/ Like Jark said she doesn't seem to have any real personality either. Eugh. I do like her but it's just getting a bit too much. That said she'd be a much better winner than Eoghan or Daniel [not that it'll actually happen].

 

I think Alexandra and Rachel [2nd performance] were the best tonight. ^_^ I also love Alexandra's personality :wub: When she was on the red carpet aha <3

I almost said 'Heartbreaker' for Alexandra, as I love it, but I think 'Always Be My Baby' would suit her better and it's not as forgotten as 'Heartbreaker' is imo. Diana would pull it off, as would JLS probably but I think Louis is the sort of judge to give them the song that's so obvious for them.

 

Someone just has to do 'We Belong Together', not because I want someone to perform it but because it's from the last 5 years and the X Factor needs to be moved into this century. I know Disco, Michael Jackson and Big Band is hard to make modern but, correct me if I'm wrong, aren't the only songs from this decade we've had so far "With Every Heartbeat", "Candyman" and "Fallin'"? They need to start singing stuff that's actually been in the charts recently and WBT is probably the closest we'll get.

 

Maybe Rachel can have 'Without You', Daniel can get 'Against All Odds' (that he's still in the competition -_-) and Laura/Diana can have WBT. :thinking:

Yeah, I don't see anyone getting that, even Mariah says it's a bit of a jokey, fun, song. It's just as 'rude' as 'Candyman' but it doesn't work as well.

Sorry :blush: I think she is quite possibly the most unique to come from this sort of show ever :wub: And I was thinking that earlier TBH, :lol: I was thinking, maybe I should tone it down a bit I think everyone knows I love her :heehee:

As i attempted to explain earlier, her real personality was at the auditions stage, now the producers have tamed her and just turned her into some annoying t***... and dont give me the "bleet on" card... how many times have we heard Rachel say "Im doing this for my children which im too drugged up to give a $h!t about mwahaha <3"

 

You may think Diana is all a bit fake, and whilst i agree to some extent you cant argue that Rachel is all herself :heehee: And you also cant deny that Diana's vocals were amazing last night -_- Fair enough if you dont like her overall, but you cant DENY that the voice is there :\

IMO not as much as smug Will Young last night.

And he was giving everyone a Masterclass. What success has he had outside the UK. Virtually none.

 

When he was performing his new single I ended up turning the sound off after about 30 seconds.

 

As for Rachel (I love myself) Hylton she doesn't sing - she shouts and when she talks her voice really irritates.

 

Just why is Daniel still there - he's the worst of all the 12 finalists. Louis got it spot on about him last night.
