To put it lightly...yes :kink: I wouldn't normally care about sending former acts - I don't particularly mind Espen sending Serebro seeing as they don't feature in my plans until I hear their new single anyway  It's just I was planning to send Little Boots again once she won Sound of 2009 (which is so obv gonna happen ), so this is standing on my toes in stiletto heels a little bit yes :heehee:

Just remember I crushed Frahliso in the war over Serebro and am willing to dispatch the Kopecek navy if need be :kink:

I guess it's time to give Jennifer Saunders a call. :smoke:

Leona to sue the Ashton Times

A publicist for Leona Lewis has said this morning that she plans to sue the Ashton Times for libelous and false reporting. At no stage did she attempt to sing Bleeding Love at her concert in Ashton Hall in Morpeth Cove last night. She was well aware of the ban on the song in the Quilvorian country and has always respected the wishes of the people of the country wherever she has played. The reported "riot" did not take place.

There have been "issues" between Leona and the Ashton Times for the last two years. Some have suggested that this may or may not to be related to her turning down the advances of the editor of the newspaper, Slimey O'Greaseball, at a media event in 2007.

Ashton Times Denies Lawsuit

A spokesman for the Ashton Times has told us that the paper has not been informed of any legal action being brought against them, a key part of Ashtonise legislation is that the party being sued must be informed of the action before it is made public, Meaning any action brought against the paper would be thrown out. The spokesman went on to read the report in Inner Massivia's papers which reported the tomato throwing and Bleeding Love hours before the Ashtonise press went to publication.

The spokesman went onto re-assure the public that Slimey O'Greaseball was not a Ashtonise national or a former employee of the Government owned paper.

The Ashton Times has reportedly contacted their lawyers about pressing legal action, but has stressed that they are just looking at their options.

So am I

It's the kind of thing someone would enter if they were the host I think.

Really?

Hosting i would go for a massive risk, not a novelty track

Well personally I think people should be risking all the time, or at least every other contest.

speaking off: I have found/decided on my entries for BJSCXV/BJSCXVI. I think i need to write it down somewhere otherwise i won't remember. :o XVI - is gonna be a novelty track! :o :o

I really don't understand how people do their promotional tours. As far as I'm concerned there's only one real way to use them to your advantage and so far NO ONE has done it!

And that is to do it spontaniously!

I could arrange the following (random countries picked):

2/12 Quotosibb

3/12 Herzebenia

4/12 Ashton

5/12 Rontvia

6/12 Land Of Jack

7/12 Nonsuch

8/12 Mdice

only for NONE of those countries to be in my semi and making the whole thing almost pointless!

and then:

9/12 Kopecka

10/12 Kellyana Kingdom (only for them to have voted on 9/12)

11/12 Inner Massivia (only for them to have voted on 10/12)

12/12 Lorikeet (only for them to have voted on 11/12)

13/12 Ojnoj (only for them to have voted on 12/12)

As far as I'm concerned you cannot arrange a tour so far in advance, you won't gain anywhere near maxmum advantage!

I agree completely.

Last time around I did 3 weeks' worth of touring. But I only arranged each week at the start. I did shows in countries which traditionally have a good relationship with Herzebania the first week, and then when I found out who was in my semi-final I picked about 8-9 countries to tour in that I could potentially visit, and made a rough order. Then that left room to skip 2-3 who had already voted. Same with the final week.

Being our first ever entry I'm touring for the ongoing publicity for future contests and the establishment of good links with other countries. Oh and to publicise our song!

I have a fixed promo tour because i would forget otherwise lol.

The BJSCXIII promo tour for Ashton will be huge! Mainly as i won't be here to do much in February.

I'm not sure if i'll even make it to the Semi results
