Posted October 27, 200816 yr I'd never really listened to DJ Shadow before, but I had always knew about him. Downloaded this on a whim, and I'm in love. :o Absolutely phenomonal album with some killer tracks, my favorite being the single 'Midnight In a Perfect World': nmzHRGoKca0
October 27, 200816 yr I - surprisingly - have never heard of them but must say I'll be looking through some of their stuff after hearing Midnight (by the way the video isn't working for me) They're very soothing - kind of lounge music

October 28, 200816 yr I have really tried with this album but I have never got it. Much prefer what DJ Krush was doing around the same time.
October 28, 200816 yr I have always liked this album, but I admit to not listening to it for years! On a related subject, I much prefer the UNKLE album.
October 28, 200816 yr I like that album too. Some great collaborations on there. Love the Richard Ashcroft thing, especially seeing him do it live a couple of years ago.

October 28, 200816 yr Author UNKLE's album is great as well, but this just edges out imo. Haunting in places, especially Building Up Steam with a Grain of Salt. Too bad UNKLE and DJ Shadow both went to $h!t after their amazing debuts. ;o
