Oooh, the movie looks promising. I forgot about some pretty major events that happened in this installment so it shouldn't be boring at all.

I was just about to ask that!! And I have read the book about 7 times

The trailer looks interesting enough, but aren't most of these "kids" actually into their 20s by now....? I dunno, it seemed a really big mistake not to film the whole lot of these 'back to back' like Peter Jackson did with LOTR.... I realise that logistically that would've been a total nightmare, but, I dunno, it seems a long time since the first one when the actors were all the right ages for the characters.....

There's another thing about this too... Is it just me or did some of the SFX in the trailer look a little bit like they were graphics out of a PS2 game.....? I'm seriously hoping that it was just a case that they did a few quickie FX shots from a work print for the trailer and the finished article is gonna look a bit better....

Yeah, I'm thinking, or at least hoping that they just made up the trailer. The banners definitely look like they were photoshopped or something though.

I agree that they're getting pretty old to depict their characters. It definitely doesn't look like they've only aged a year since the last movie! Good thing they've decided to film the last 2 movies simultaneously. Any older and it probably wouldn't be passable at all!

I dunno I think when you see them in character they look fine.

Plus now the trio will be playing the older characters in the epilogue which is good news. "Benj. Button" style aging techniques are being used :D

Aren't they supposed to be all 16 though, in the book....? I mean, sorry, but Daniel Radcliffe and the "kid" who plays Draco Malfoy in particular blatantly do NOT look 16..... Radcliffe looks older than Zac Efron ffs, and he's about 21.....

Yeah, they're supposedly depicting 16/17 year olds since in the 7th book I'm pretty sure that's when they turn 18. Definitely don't look that young in the movies anymore!

New TV spot - love this. Lavenders voice isnt what I expected to hear! A bit of "OMG thats Lunas voice" reaction for me hearing it!

Lavender sounds good, mad & crazy, how I expected her to be.

@ Grimly - It's been pretty slow production. It's been going for about 8 years now and they're only on the 5th book, but the "age authenticity" doesn't bother me. I'd rather they stuck with the actors. I was pretty pissed and worried when I heard that Emma was considering not returning as Hermione, it just wouldn't be right.

This movie covers the 6th book. :heehee:

The 7th and final book is being made into two movies and I think they're being filmed simultaneously.

I agree with Josh, I'd rather we got continuity with the actors, than worry too much about age. Also, I'd prefer they weren't all filmed back-to-back, imagine all 7 films being made with Philisophers Stone quality acting
i will look forward for the movie...though i much prefer the story in the book..

How do you know when you havent even seen it?
