Circus will have it's first live performance this Saturday, when she performs this and Womanizer on The X Factor :cheer:

2nd highest debute of the year (behind Womanizer debuted @#6 10 weeks a go) and in front of Leona's Run debute @#12 last week ^_^

I think any of the songs from the promo disc would be great singles as everybody that has reviewed it loves them...even the ones that are usually critical on Brit.

Critics and the press are being kind to Britney but the public won't buy anything she decides to bung out. Some songs weren't meant to be singles... 'Kill The Lights' would be an absolute mistake. 'Out From Under' could go either way, it's absolutely lovely but not massively strong for radio. 'If U Seek Amy' is definitely the best bet from the promo CD - moreso than 'Circus' imo.

I'm just undecided about IUSA as a single - I can't see it getting huge radio airplay. Even though she doesn't say 'it', it is supposed to (and does) sound like 'it'. The last thing she needs is the single not to be played between 6am and 9pm :lol:

I think that's a bit pathetic actually; this probably isn't the place to say it but Miley is a stronger singer than Britney live and I highly doubt she will be miming. You only need to watch Fly on the Wall @ the AMAs (which the 3 above posters all raved about incidentally) to see that she puts a HELLA good show on live. If Britney was as good I'd be surprised...

Oh please!!! Comparing Miley to Britney voice-wise is like comparing butter and jam (Britney being Butter :wub:) Two completely different things.

I was just saying that Miley is no where near as good as a performer and entertainer as Britney is. Something i think EVERYONE can agree on. I would rather pay a grand to watch Britney perform than spend money on a 30/40 quid ticket to see Miley.

You might but I'd spend my money on whoever I knew would sing live. And Miley always does, and sounds good too. :P Miley is very much a performer. Let's see how Britney does in Europe this weekend before we write Miley off as inferior yeah?

Okay mr industry insider with secret knowledge...

I have the album and the only suitable singles are Womanizer, Circus, Kill The Lights, Out From Under, Unusual You and Trouble (even though Trouble won't be released b/c it's a bonus track).

 

The only other songs I like are Phonography, My Baby and Blur.

 

MANNEQUIN, LACE AND LEATHER, QUICKSAND, ROCK ME IN, SHATTERED GLASS, IF U SEEK AMY AND MMM PAPI--THEY ALL SUCK!!!!!
