My country is Pop... And only Asian Pop which I'm trying to break by entering a non Asian Pop song soon.

But Asian Pop can be very varied... Which no-one apparently thinks of :\

It really annoys me when people catergorically say they don't like K-Pop or J-Pop in the same way I'd say I don't like opera or heavy metal. Because it's not a genre, it's just a language. Granted there is a recurring sound to most Asian pop but it's ridiculous saying you don't like it as a whole, it's just the same as grouping any song in English under E-Pop and saying you don't like it. Obviously it's fine to dislike Asian Pop songs, and I understand the language barrier, I'm just saying it is NOT a genre.

Scandipop and electro-pop are the two genres that I fall back on most but I've dabbled in plenty of others as well - dance, indie, jazz, R&B, singer/songwriter, even trip-hop :P I try to mix things up if I can to not let things stagnate so that different people are likely to enjoy my entries each month rather than the same people each time.

Ramrynia's entries

Diana Vickers - Sunlight = INDIE-POP

Ben Folds - Still Fighting It = ALTERNATIVE ROCK

Demi Lovato - Unbroken = POP

Katie Sky - Sweet Sweet Melody = ELECTRONIC INDIE-POP

So, I would so a largely indie-pop sound, with some entries moving into mainstream pop :D
