Also debuts at #11 in Switzerland but that will likely rise next week as she is #2 on Swiss iTunes. :)

That's a total of 17 weeks at #1 in the Irish singles chart! :o :D

I stand corrected. I thought AMLT had five. :P

This week has 85,034 downloads, bringing it's total to 217,851. Also certified Silver! :cheer:
I've been reading that Run is going to be released in the US and then eventually worldwide? Apparently the Run video is available on both US and Canadian iTunes and is doing quite well on both, I also read that it's going for official adds on the 30th of December? Anybody clear this up for me? Ethereal? :P :D
I think they added the video to see how many people would be buying it. I think it's doing well, so they've decided to release it on download on December 30th. :)

It's on US iTunes available to buy NOW. It's a shame they didn't repress the d/ls like so many other artists have been doing. I hope US radio warms to the song.

It's on Canadian iTunes, and promoted on the front page with a large banner. It doesn't have a radio adds date, though. IWB hasn't been getting much pre-add activity, but it hasn't been confirmed Run will be her next US single, or has it? It seems as though management have yet to make up their mind.

I'm not entirely sure. Run has been added to US and Canadian iTunes so it looks like it may be getting released there as opposed to I Will Be. I haven't heard anything about a 30th December add date.

Better In Time still did expectionally well though, it was just a shame it came so close to the top 10 but still missed.

That's how I look at BIT. OK, so it didn't reach top 10 on the Hot 100, but it peaked at #3 on radio so it was a definite success. It also kept sales for Spirit consistent. It sold 20,000+ copies for something like 25 weeks (maybe more). That's amazing for a debut artist. I think FM would've been a bigger hit if released at the same time as BIT.

With Run, I have no idea how this will chart. I would hope for another hit, but I can't predict this. I wish Forgive Me had've been released. I think US radio would've lapped it up. She could've had a hit on POP, Rhythmic AND possibly Urban. The singles SHOULD have gone like this (in my opinion):

1. Bleeding Love

2. Forgive Me (summer release)

3. Better In Time

4. Run (to co-incide with a re-release for the holiday season, though it could still be too early...)

5. Take A Bow or I Will Be

Too many ballads will kill the momentum completely.
