... just all amazing, fantastic songs! Unusual You is as beautiful as I expected, Shattered Glass is a smash merge of vintage and new Britney, and Phonography is just filthy :lol:

 

REALLY LIKE:

 

Kill The Lights - I didn't think there'd be better than this on the album, but boy she proved me wrong!!

Mannequin - I think it's really good, and memorable to me. Drops out of 'love' because it's a bit too overproduced for me.

My Baby - the closest to 'old' Britney as we've heard in a long time. I'm not sure if the vocals are really good, or just cute and endearing, I haven't decided yet.

Amnesia - not like I was expecting, but I think I'll grow to like it a lot more

Rock Me In - steady and solid track

Lace and Leather - doesn't really seem to get good reviews, probably because it's overshadowed by other 'sexy' songs, but I think this is pretty good, and will be great on tour!

 

NOT CRAZY ABOUT:

 

Blur - unexciting for me so far sadly

Mmm Papi - a bit too messy for me at the moment, but may grow in a Freakshow way!

It's hard to categorize ... Blur is, I'd say, down-tempo, My Baby is definitely a (beautiful) ballad, and even though it isn't, Unusual You seems slow because it's so laid back.

Oh, also, the new Radar is great - no great change to the song or its production, but it's much less irritating, far maturer vocals, and it's what it should have sounded like on Blackout.

I really can't tell that there's much of a difference in the new Radar at all! Something was added to the intro and then some of the bass production parts seem to be remixed a bit but that's about it!

I am really tempted to listen to this, but I just have to try and wait for the official release!

Well a totally mixed back. A few gems (well 'Circus' and 'Amnesia') and quite a few cringeworthy and terrible tracks. Britney lacks any identity on this album really. She's just moulded into her producers' comfort zones and rehashes inferior versions of songs by others and herself. 'Blackout' was such a monumental step forward. With 'Circus' it seems Britney has decided to opt for the tacky approach to her music and goes 10-years'-worth of steps backwards. Cringey sexless tracks, artistic mimicry and a total lack of cohesiveness. The album seems to have no quality control; oscillating throughout. 'Mmm Papi' and 'My Baby' are amongst her worst tracks. Disappointing.

Unusual You and Shattered Glass for singles!

I love the album, but the best track (Amnesia) is the bonus?!

 

Still solid effort, on par with Blackout, maybe better imo :D
