Poor Scott Carson :( Glad he isn't getting the flack I feared and John Terry quite rightly got the blame but he showed his character by making up for it :D

 

Definitely not pointless at all! We're in the progress of developing a nice squad of players here :D The best thing was that the players who are normally $h!te for England were the best last night :lol: Downing and Upson especially!

Good result. I only saw the 2nd half, but the Terry and Carson incident was awful. Both were at fault. Carson more so than Terry however.

 

I still believe it's a pointless game. Whilst I agree it was good to see some players thriving such as Downing and SWP, I still believe it was an utterly pointless. There's no competitive game for agess and if any players had got injured whilst in duty it'd have been horrid. I know there's a lot of international fans on here (I am too, but I support club over country any day of the week) and they want to see the best players playing, but if they weren't playing for their clubs, they'd never be playing for England!

Terry is supposed to be a world class international player. If in doubt kick it out, don't limbo on top of the ball :lol: Especially when there's a keeper with no confidence after his last international.
