SP are set to release their new single Crack the Shutters on December 15th.

The second single to be taken from A Hundred Million Suns which has already done over a million copies worldwide, will feature a plethora of exclusive b-sides and remixes.

The CD single will be backed by an new track Cubicles, with the limited edition 7 Vinyl featuring the cover of Elbows One Day Like This recorded on Jo Whileys Live Lounge On Tour. There will also be an iTunes bundle available which will include the single and video for the track as well as the Haunts Remix of Crack the Shutters. Finally the stunning Kid Glove remix of the track will be available to download exclusively from the SP store on the 14th December.

Some info on the Single form the bands Website ^_^

crack the shutters look set to flop as it isnt top 40 in the midweeks, this would be their first song to miss the top 40 pre final straw glory
I wouldn't say that. It's bound to climb massively after all the xmas songs go away and the x factor hype tads down a bit. They usually have two or three month gaps between singles giving it plenty of time. The release is just in a bit of a hectic time atm. It will hang in there and probably make top 30 I imagine. Up to #47 on iTunes.

Can't say I'm surprised TBH! Video Play has been $h!t! I've seen it... TWICE -_-
#43 in the UK this week,im hoping it will go top 40 next week as usually the charts go weird this time of year and songs start climbing etc so im hoping that will happen snow patrol as i want this song to be a top 40 hit
Where is it possible to download the B-Side 'Cubicles'? The track is not included in the itunes bundle... :(
This song is infinitely better than 'Take Back The City' (which I found horrendous), I hope it can wedge itself in the top 40 this week, which I'm sure it will do.
crack the shutters is top 40 in the 2 midweek updates we have got so all going well it will stay top 40 come sunday as this doesn not deserve to miss the top 40 in anyway if anything it deserves at least top 10
Positions updated. Hovering around the late 30s and early 40s on iTunes, still. So top 40 by the end of the week shouldn't really be an issue. I think this won't just go away but will only be huger later on. I've myself, only seen the video on tv once. Which says plenty.
Cubicles is way better than the afterlife, it's not bad for a bside
I know :o I only have started listening to the album thoroughly now. Both Cubicles and Afterlife are equally good. Ah and CTS looks good imo for some major success growth within 2 weeks or so. Still middlish on iTunes
I ALWAYS FIND X MAS A HARD TIME to listen to cd;s proerly when all the hype etc is over i pull out the cd;s amd listen to them properly
I listen to the song...not bad not bad but not good either... <_< Kind of boring for me, goes nowhere. It could chart in top 20 but i don't see making the top 10 (only if they play at the Brits) .
