Posted November 21, 200816 yr i was thinking about Mumba today, and although due to her recent TV apperances i have to say i am no longer a fan (i dont feel she comes accross that well).. I do have to say why on earth was she dropped??? Who gets dropped with this chart run? UK: Gotta Tell You #2 Body II Body #5 Always Come Back #3 Baby Come On Over #5 Latley #6 I'm Right Here #5 USA Gotta Tell You #4 Baby Come Over #49 (dance chart #14) I'm Right Here #80 her debut album sold 4 million worldwide which is huge when u think duffy- rockferry has sold 3.8million worldwide so far adele so far is on about 1.5million. (i know these will both increase- but gives an idea) Yet she was dropped due to lack of success from i'm right here, true it was a rubbish song, but #5 in the UK and #80 in america would be most acts dreams? surely they could have put some good material together for a second album??? just a though... gotta tell u still is a great song!!! November 21, 200816 yr I agree...why on earth would a record label drop her :lol: A #6 single is hardly unimpressive :P Maybe America warrants a drop...but the UK??? Oh welll...why didn't Dancing On Ice and that other program where she was trying to re-launch her career bring her back??? :lol:
November 21, 200816 yr Did they actually sell thoguh, that might explain why she was dropped.
