Alesha's second single, out late Jan or early Feb 09, is Breathe Slow.

 

Amazing song in my view, should do great too - it has mass appeal and the production is VERY crisp and modern. Also the shot gun sound when she says 'I aint the one to shoot the gun' is unintentionally hilarious LOL.

 

Video being shot in Las Vegas, she flew out today. There'll be lots of dancing in it she says.

she's flying to the US to film the video? isn't that a bit odd, esp. since the album's out in a few days? she shoulda stayed and done as much promo as she can for it. :unsure:

 

I like other songs on the album more, but this seems a good choice of single. I can see it having a wide/mainstream appeal

I really like this song. It's so much better to hear her actually singing properly. Hope it does well :D

Gah. :( What a missed oppurtunity. Why have scenes of her dancing in a studio? Doesn't fit at all, looks rubbish. And I hate the radio edit they've used without the gunshot and with the shorter outro. Disappointed.

The video could be better, but it's decent enough and miles better than the one for 'The Boy Does Nothing'. I hope it does well for her!

Yep, decent estimate. Not bad at all for two weeks and hopefully it'll be at about 60k after this week.

Oh yeah, tonight is the Graham Norton performance. 9.30pm on BBC2. I think I'll just wait for youtube, don't want to sit through thirty minutes of that utterly revolting thing.

Was the Graham Norton performance cut down? :unsure: I wasn't paying attention but it seemed that it went from the end of the first chrous straight to the instrumental before the "work it out now, work it, work it out now" bit. But maybe I was distracted when she did the verses. :heehee:

Btw did anyone catch the fact that they edited the gun sound off the video edit??
