Wow, I wonder if that is actually true. I didn't see the tour going on even further but then again they DID want to add a South American leg and it just didn't work out...

Lol, the HQ Studio Mix of Circus was being played over it. Thats why the crowd seem so... meh... At certain times you can hear very few screams but nowhere near as loud as it should be.

Plus the crowd is usually singing along most of the time haha.

I doubt the new dates will happen seeing as the latest leg of the tour is called "The Final Act" but still wouldn't mind seeing her again.
I thought the "final act" part was just being advertised in the US since she's coming back for a 2nd leg. I don't know if it refers to the final half of the tour or not but she hasn't tour Australia yet before... I definitely don't see a new album coming out as early as spring though if she's still touring then.
Jordin Sparks will be opening the tour for two of the US dates replacing Ciara on Sept. 15th and 16th. Kristinia DeBarge will still be performing.
Yay for Jordin! That will be great for her!

It was quite sudden that's for sure. The banner to the right on Britney's official site still states Ciara and Kristinia DeBarge as opening acts.
Because her album is biggest FLOP of the year and Jive dropped off her.

Did they seriously drop her?

Did they seriously drop her?

There is a lot of online speculation floating around that Ciara has been dropped and replaced by labelmate Jordin Sparks to support Britney Spears on the North American leg of her ‘Circus’ tour. All I know so far is that yesterday, Britney’s people sent out a new press release stating that Jordin was joining the tour alongside Def Jam newcomer Kristinia Debarge. It was reported on June 24th by Britney’s official site that Ciara would also be supporting Britney on her 2nd US tour. Now Ciara’s name is no longer listed on Britney’s site as an opener anymore, and none of the newly written articles mention her as being a support act.

Toya from Toyas World:

Say what? Cici not good enough for Britney’s tour now?

Let’s see. Numerous leaks. Numerous pushbacks. Two flop singles. One scrapped single. Horrible album sales. Horrible CD artwork. Horrible gimmick and marketing. Oh boy. Where do I stop?

And I don’t care what her stans say but ‘Go Girl’ was pushed as an official single with that expensive video before being deemed a buzz track after it flopped and dropped harder than a fallen brick from the sky. This ‘Fantasy Ride’ era has seriously hurt Cici’s credentials as an artist. With the exception of about 3 songs, the album was all sorts of rotten. Sorry. I can’t defend it.

Jordin is a nice girl but she’s such a boring performer. Po Ciara can’t catch a break and Jive must be pissed at how much money they’ve spent on this project. Reportedly, she’s been back in the studio recording with Justin Timberlake so maybe she’s starting over, which would probably explain why she’s no longer on the tour.

Bear in mind, this is all speculation but if I could find any sort of legitimate reason, this would be it. Further promotion of Fantasy Ride looks like it’s been halted. The project is as good as dead now, and it’s time to move on.

Ciaras rep has confirmed she isn't in the tour anymore.
Well that's interesting. I suppose it makes sense to take her off the tour then. It doesn't make much sense to have her out performing if they've dropped promotion of her album.
So Jordin Sparks is taking over the whole tour?
